Sandy Cooper is one of the single most hardworking and passionate people at Canyon. Her career started twenty years ago in sales, where she would meet (Compete against) her future husband Steve Cooper. Together, they opened a few restaurants in Orange County, and today own one of the busiest and most successful independent restaurants in OC.

My husband and I worked with Christina from Canyon Catering back in June of 2019 for our wedding at Coto Valley Country Club. My husband and I still talk about how happy we were with the experience and the quality of the food. We still continue to get people commenting on how amazing the food was at our wedding and they've said it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding. There was pesto pasta, brisket, chicken parm, green beans, salad, and rolls for dinner and meatballs, bruschetta on eggplant crisp, and caprese skewers, ALL a hit!

I got the privilege to enjoy a lovely event with Canyon Catering providing and serving the meal. The food and service was absolutely amazing and the presentation was first class. Canyon Catering is top notch. They are excellence in catering. Christina managed our wedding catering in fairly short notice last year. (During challenging times, we had to pivot and roll with fluid circumstances of the season.) She is very communicative and gave us the options for our food sampling. All the appetizers and entrees were amazing and tasty. They were:

*mac and cheese bite
*tomato bisque + grilled cheese
*cajun shrimp corn cake

We loved working with Canyon! Christina was our rep, and we had so much fun with her during our tasting (and took home so much amazing food!). Canyon was creative, flexible, and provided incredible advice the whole way through. Plus, they went above and beyond every step of the way. When we had to move our wedding they were one of the few vendors that actually called and talked with us to figure things out, and were so sympathetic with our situation and date change. We love this family and this family-owned company!

After months of COVID ups and downs my daughter and son-in-law decided to get married in our back yard. We had less than two weeks to pull it together, and Canyon Catering came through for us with flying colors. The food was extremely generous and superbly cooked. The service was second to none (and I have very high standards for service). The tray passed appetizers came around promptly and with a smile. None of us wanted for anything. The bartender chased us down to make sure we had our favorite beverages.

Christina helped my fiancé and I design a wedding brunch menu and every step of the way she was incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful. Canyon catered our wedding with their Southern Roadhouse menu and it was delicious! All our guests enjoyed the food! Lin made everything so easy for us from the awesome tasting to answering all our questions! She guided us on all the details of the catering and the package included a lot of little things that we did not have to worry about - tableside water service, cake cutting, champagne toasts, etc. Their service and food presentation were impressive and we were so happy their were very reasonable prices as well!

I couldn't disagree with Brandon B. more. The food is great and when feeding over 500 people, spices need to be kept to a minimum. They do a great job of providing good food (and a lot of it) to our employees while keeping it fresh.

Canyon caters helped out with our wedding and they were so amazing to work with. Their whole team is so patient and detail oriented. Christina was wonderful to work with and we felt so at ease having them as our caterer. Their food is AMAZING! We had the harvest salad, brisket, red snapper and summer vegetables. Our appetizers were a truffle mac and cheese ball, tomato soup and grilled cheese, and chicken and waffle. People from our wedding are still telling us how good the food was.
Their customer service is excellent and we highly recommend to anyone that needs assistance with catering.

Unbelievable service from Canyon Catering for our corporate event we had that was held in Irvine at The Nursery by Southwinds. Christina Cooper was our contact and she was so easy and friendly to work with. She went through all the options and on the day of the event, her and her team were on top of it and super friendly! I love working with vendors that are just easy to deal with and they understand what customer service is all about. Our lead server checked in with me every so often to make sure all was perfect as it was. Now about the food, it was delicious and the presentation was elegant.

Great tasting food with a ton of options. Excellent service. Good pricing. The tasting was just us as opposed to some group tastings. Guests were raving about the short ribs, deserts, and appetizers for days after the wedding. The staff had timing perfect, were friendly, and handled any last minute requests.

I'm an event coordinator and have worked with a lot of different caterers over the last couple years. And I have to say that Canyon Catering is one of the best! Haley Hellems was super quick to respond to email and phone calls and was extremely accommodating in customizing a menu that was both delicious and fit within our budget. Our event was a Holiday party that was 2 hours long, and people were coming and going at different times. I loved that we had chefs on site to make the food as guests arrived so every appetizer was hot and fresh.

From start to finish Canyon Catering is a joy to work with! Sandy helped me arrange catering for my son's school's Thanksgiving Feast. She went above and beyond by looking up previous year's orders and making helpful suggestions. When I called to double check (I'm a double/triple checker) on things she was actually​ happy to hear from me! Never happens. The food arrived as planned, on time and with a smile from Miguel. He set everything up perfectly. We were in a ginormous hurry to set up and he jumped right in and got it done for us.

Canyon Catering surpassed all of my expectations. Let me start by saying that I sent in a request on a Thursday noon for a catering to be done on that Saturday (2 days later). They did say they were only able to do their executive set up, but it was such a great experience. The man responsible for setting out the food was very nice! I ordered bbq chicken, St Louis bbq ribs, their Southwestern AMAZING TASTING salad, corn on the cob, and Au Gratin Potatoes, all very tasty delicious! From the beginning till the end it was a pleasure dealing with Canyon Catering. He understood my needs and help me all the way coordinate my own wedding. It really helped me, having Canyon Catering bringing all the linens, glassware, and China. It made easy to order quantities, style, etc. But the best part was the food. The appetizers were to die for and the Canyon Catering was DELICIOUS! All my guest loved it. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend Canyon Catering 100%. You won't be disappointed.

Canyon set up a water and iced tea station before the wedding which was such a nice touch. They had an appetizer station set up for the cocktail hour and the display was gorgeous. I've used Canyon Catering a couple times for corporate events. They are very reliable and know the importance of getting food set up nicely and on time. The deluxe continental breakfast is a good choice and comes with big portions per person. We always have ~50% leftover. They did forget our one special portion of a gluten-free lunch once but they came back with it in just 15 minutes! My favorite thing about them is their communication. They track their catering vans so if they are running a bit late, they are able to tell us where they are. The staff is friendly as well. Lindsey is great

We had gone to several tastings before deciding on Canyon Catering. Sarah is so sweet, and her staff were just so professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. We changed our guest count and meal counts so many times, and Sarah was always positive in her attitude working with us. The tasting process was very pleasant, the food was amazingly delicious, and they definitely made sure we and the bridal party were all adequately fed, even personally delivering appetizers to the bridal room during the break between the ceremony and reception. The team at Canyon Catering did a fabulous job for our wedding. Food was absolutely excellent, and our coordinators/leads - what have you - Steven and Christina, were absolutely phenomenal in helping me plan every aspect of the day to the last detail. Christina put up with last minute head count changes, sudden changes to food quantities, etc. and never made me feel like I was being difficult. A few weeks before the wedding she and Steven came out to see the venue and walk me through exactly where everything would go. So helpful.

I just worked with Canyon Catering yesterday for a wedding at Rancho Las Lomas, and LOVED them!!! I worked with Nick and his staff of about 6 or 7 others. They were the most efficient, professional, detail oriented, and on top of it group of caterers I have met! I will definitely recommend them for any brides.
