Engineered designs are required for the development of residential, subdivision, commercial or industrial sites. A Geotechnical Evaluation should always be included as part of a comprehensive due diligence assessment associated with the transfer or development of any given site intended for residential or commercial structures.

Due to very active clay soils in Texas, there are several designs that, when used in conjunction with a Geotechnical Evaluation, help reduce the severity of normal slab movement. Whether you are a Property Investor, Expanding Company, Custom Home Builder, or an Individual working to build your own home, we strive to offer the best solution at an affordable price.

Engineered designs are required for the development of residential, subdivision, commercial or industrial sites. This is a preliminary design to see if the site you want will fit the required design needs. These can be done for any size site and include preliminary plans and cost estimates.

These preliminary plans are generally used for pre-development meetings with the city to discuss your desired site and the costs associated with developing it.These can also be done for sites you own and would like to develop further. It's a "Quick look" to see if the site will fit your design. This is a way for you and your engineer to meet face-to-face with the city personnel who will be reviewing and permitting your project.
A Geotechnical Evaluation, commonly referred to as a "Soils Report, " should always be included as part of a comprehensive due diligence assessment associated with the transfer or development of any given site intended for residential or commercial structures. The Texas Board of Professional Engineers interpretation of the International Residential Code section on foundations specifically IRC 2012 Sec.
The use of Post-Tensioned cables seems to be the preferred choice of reinforcement for slab-on-grade foundations, due to cost savings and design advantages. Conventional Rebar reinforcing is used primarily as a builder's preference. It is also used when building an addition to an existing foundation, or when there are deep or multiple finished floor elevation changes throughout the slab.

They are the wort company to deal with, they are liars and they do not have professional engineers working for them. After i paid them $15,000 they dragged me for an additional 3 months to let me know they do not have a civil engineer working for them. This delayed my project for a year, lost money time, and it was lot of stress. Now im having to pay somebody else to finish their job. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SCREWD OVER. These guys are criminals.

Horrible experience. I provided them with all of my plans from the very beginning and they assured me that if that was not enough information, they would let me know. They went ahead and did $1800 worth of soil work before they told me that it was not enough information to provide foundation design that they had quoted me. They said they could only do it for an extra $4000. I asked for my money back and I was told they were not going to do anything for me then hung up on me. They were incredibly unprofessional; they delayed my project for more than a month. Don’t use this company!
