MJ Thomas Engineering (MJT for short) is a Texas-based professional engineering firm with a strong history of providing civil engineering, site development, and design services for successful public, commercial, and private projects. As your partner, our professional staff - from our civil engineers and project managers to our dedicated technical team - will work with you to meet commitments, budgets, and goals on both large and small projects.
The team at MJ Thomas Engineering treats every project as if it is our very own investment. MJT's team understands the necessary commitment to deadlines and the challenges each project demands. Our dedicated team includes two registered Professional Engineers, a skilled project manager, and associated technical and professional staff.
MJ Thomas Engineering assists site development clients with off-site utilities to serve the tract, including the design of water and sanitary sewer treatment plants, pumping and water storage facilities, and water and sanitary sewer distribution. MJT offers comprehensive services including surveying; geotechnical, mechanical and electrical engineering; landscape architecture, irrigation design and construction management.
We routinely conduct and provide due diligence-investigative services before design begins. This ensures we complete our services on time, within budget and we exceed client expectations. We can assist the architect or owner with these services. Upon request, we provide clients with construction staking and as-built surveys, and can assist in obtaining permits from state and local authorities.
As its availability decreases, water is becoming an increasingly more important consideration. New development has a huge impact on water considerations for every site. Our firm places emphasis on long-range sources, conservation and management and is experienced in long-range planning, design of system improvements and upgrading older systems.
