Deductibles & Co-Payments are due at the time of service. Dental insurances have different stipulations with regards to coverage. We do our best to determine the co-payments patients are responsible for based on our knowledge of each insurance company. Reimbursements from the insurance companies are not always predictable, and are discussed with the patients if necessary.
If you have missing teeth, we may recommend a dental bridge to fill the space. A bridge is essentially a false tooth that is held in place by the surrounding teeth on either side- a literal bridge in your mouth between teeth. Bridges can be made from a wide variety of materials, such as gold or other alloys, but the most commonly used material is porcelain because of its ability to match the look and color of your existing teeth.
Tooth decay is the most common health problem affecting children, even more common than obesity and asthma. Cavities aren't just painful; they can lead to infections that can affect a child's overall health as well as oral health problems later in life. One of the most important things you can do to protect your child's oral health is scheduling regular cleanings and dental exams.

I’ve had the worse experience recently. Medical patients are discriminated here because of the type of coverage. They make you sign a ridiculous paper stating they will discharge you if you are a no show! On top of that if you have to reschedule because you have another emergency they can careless and they want to discharge you. The receptionist is careless. If they just don’t want any medical patients then they should take in any but don’t make the families feels type of way because of medical. I am never bringing my kids here again. Many other places that are actually caring.

I absolutely love this dental office! I took my son here and he absolutely amazed me how easily he gravitated to the staff, all the staff there were very welcoming and warm. They made my son feel extremely comfortable and confident during his visit there. I was so impressed with everything there, the rooms were clean and bright colored and kid friendly decor. I also love the cool tv screens at the top of the ceiling for the children to focus on rather than what was going on in their mouths. Some children may be different but I’m sure they will make your child/children very comfortable it’s

Very concerned about how this office sets it's priorities. Do they do what's best for my kid or best for their cashflow?
They recently recommended gum surgery on my 7 year old daughter to help an impacted tooth erupt.
I asked a bit about the pros and cons and it was OBVIOUS I was being persuaded into gum surgery on a 7 year old. How do I know this? I’ve spent about 10 years in sales. I know when I’m being persuaded in one direction verses another.
I was particularly suspicious of this after a pretty traumatic experience my daughter had in getting the silver caps put on that they recommend

We are beyond grateful for Dr. Marissa and her team. She not only have great bed side manners and communications but also has the best skills with her dental works of art. After given an ultimatum on extractions of the lower back teeth for our 3 year old son at a well reviewed Dentist office in Torrance. We came to see Dr. Marissa for a second opinion. Not only did she saved the two teeth but also worked on them while my toddler is screaming and moving his head around. (For personal reasons we cannot give our son IV or general anesthesia) Also we appreciate the fact that Dr. Marissa is also trained

I have been taking my 10 year old for a few years now to smile street pediatrics. I first came to this office after not being satisfied with my daughters previous dentist. It’s been a great experience so far. All the assistants have been great. They are ALWAYS so friendly and positive. Dr. Marissa has been amazing! After my daughter had some cavity work, Dr. Marissa called after office hours to check on my daughter. As a new patient at the time, I was so grateful that she took the time to check on her and answer any questions I had. Fast forward to now, nothing has changed and continues to exceed

I really was excited about the appointment I had for my kids. I’ll start by what I didn’t like. The front staff were cold. Customer service was not like what I would have expected by the appearance of this beautiful office.
What really bothered me was the fact that the assistant used bare hands to open sterile equipment. Also gloves were not taken directly out of the box. They were left on the counter and then retrieved from there. The assistant also was cold and somewhat unapproachable. I felt like she was reading a script and I not engaging.
It sucks because the doctor was warm and seemed

We had a wonderful experience. We recently took our 5 year old, who needed his tooth pulled. The entire staff was very warm and compassionate. Dr. Marissa Faeldan-Suarez was sweet, thorough and calm. She made our son feel so at ease and us too. She took her time explaining step by step and was so gently with him that he didn’t even cry. It’s such a relief to have found them and have a place we trust.
