Kaufman Dentistry is a family dental practice in more ways than one. Not only do we offer a comprehensive selection of dental procedures to meet families' needs, the practice is itself a family practice, run by the father-and-son team of Drs. Warren and Matt Kaufman. Both Warren and Matt take great pride in what they do, and agree that the best part of the job is being able to form long-term relationships with their patients.
Your mouth is just one aspect of your entire body. The relationship between your mouth and your overall health is now more clear than ever. We also see our patients more frequently than a general doctor, so we can screen for health issues more frequently. Maintaining the health of the gums is the most important aspect of your mouth that we can help you with.
Why are my teeth wearing away at the gum line? That's a surprisingly good question that we hear almost on a daily basis, and it's surprisingly good because the dental community still hasn't come to agreement as to the causative factor. Teeth begin to cup away at the gumline, often times causing recession and sensitivity.

Scheduled service as new client through my dental provider. Selected them because their in my providers network. Missed work for appointment. Get there to find out that I have to pay $57 for X-rays. My PPO plan shows that X-rays are free if dentist is within their network. This place is in the network. But they
don’t do free X-rays. So any work you do need from them is going to break the bank. There fee are not going to be reasonable. Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg at this place.

Dr warren kaufman is phenomenal (as is his whole incredible staff)....patient, extremely knowledgeable, and forthright. there's no "upselling" here...it's just great work done by a long time dentist who knows his stuff. it's a totally spotless and well run office with little to no wait time and every one in the office doing a well coordinated job of moving you through their own the process (x-ray, teeth cleaning, etc) seamlessly. there's no guessing as to your charges. everything is explained and is given to you in writing. it's coming directly out of my pocket, but i think it's less than what

Came in today for a cleaning/check-up and everything about Kaufman Dentistry was fantastic. The staff is so friendly and really care about their patients. The office is clean and up-to-date as far as medical tech goes. I actually had fun at the dentist! I will definitely be coming here from now on for all my dental needs :) Thanks Kaufman Dentistry!

I came to Kaufman Dentistry for tooth pain that I was experiencing after getting an onlay placed by another dentist. I had a bad experience over multiple appointments with this other dentist, so I didn't trust them to fix the problem. Kaufman Dentistry was able to squeeze me in the same day which I was really grateful for. I saw Dr. Warren (the father) and he was wonderful. He really took his time with me and explained why I was experiencing pain, and explained exactly what he was going to do to fix it. He was very warm and easy to talk to, which I appreciated since I do have some anxiety

Dr. Kaufman (I go to Dr. Matt) is truly the best dentist I've ever had, and there's really nothing I can think of that this office could be doing better. EVERYONE in the practice, from the front office, to the hygienists, x-ray techs, and of course Dr. Matt and his dad Warren, are exceptionally competent and friendly. During the pandemic they have inspired confidence in their COVID safety protocols. I actually enjoy going to the dentist!

Returned after a 4-5 year hiatus and they welcomed me back with open arms! I seldom write reviews, so consider how incredible the two Drs. and the entire team (shout outs to Susan) are - the Kaufman Dentistry are beyond the gold standard for what dentistry practice should be.
They took me in the same day (rare), before Thanksgiving (rare!), and fixed my crown in under an hour. Upfront about costs - great trust here!
As always: Professional, Knowledgeable, Friendly, Clean (Covid-safe practices), and Newly Expanded :)

We truly can't recommend this dental practice more strongly!!! Both Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Matt are exceptional. Plus, their staff and hygienists are soooo warm, focused, and on top of things. My husband and I have gone to Kaufman Dentistry for crown issues, cleanings, and other cosmetic work, and we know from years of issues that this team is bar none. My wife and I have been going to Kaufman Dentistry for as far back as I can remember. (About 20 years). We have scene the practice grow and Dr. Kaufman's son grow up and join the practice. Usually when a company or business grows service suffers but not in this case. From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel like family and relax.. Yesterday I had the worse pain. The best dental office! Dr. Matt, Dr. Warren, and the staff at Kaufman Dentistry are always so cheerful and welcoming. I had an appointment to get some fillings and an onlay done today. I was a little nervous at first, but Dr. Matt explained the whole process to me and made me feel at ease throughout the entire procedure. This office utilizes cutting edge technology, which makes me feel even more confident that I am getting the best care. I've been with Dr. Matt Kaufman for almost 10 years, and even though I'm a little outside of West LA, he's worth the drive. He practices in the office his father started and maintains that tradition of excellence. Dr. K is up on all the techniques and technology, and he's honest. I trust his judgment and treatment on all the tooth problems I have had.

Ok, I hear how much folks love the efficient, caring treatment. That's good. This is a review with respect to their business practice. They take anthem, and even they do bill for you. What they do not do is accept anthem's terms of the business fronting the money.
This means you have to cover the full cost of the treatment up front, and can not even be reimbursed from an FSA while anthem slowly mulls over what they're going to do. This means the dentist will not trust me but I must trust him and I must trust anthem.

I had an emergency with my tooth and Dr Kaufman made arrangements to see me on Saturday (his office is closed so I appreciate he made an exception for me) He was finished within one hour and followed up with me via text later on in the evening. I believe Dr Kaufman cares about his patients and I would recommend using him if you're in L.A

Just finished a root canal with Dr. Warren Kaufman. There was zero pain. I was absolutely 100% comfortable the entire time. The Kaufman gents are top notch!!
I know that I am getting quality work with both Warren and Matthew Kaufman. They are professional without being stuffy. Their friendly demeanor puts me at ease every time.

Fear of going to the dentist? That all ends here! I’ve been through it all with dentists and messing up my teeth. Dr. Kaufman is my hero and I told him I will love him forever! He is gentle, kind and understanding. I had a tooth extracted and bone implanted and I didn’t feel a thing. No swelling, nothing! Not like my other one done elsewhere, where my whole mouth was miserable for days. I can’t say it enough, best dentist I’ve ever met! His staff is wonderful as well. Especially Lori.

I have been to several dentists over the years. I got to say this office has the best bedside manner. Perfect example is the technique in which Dr. Warren Kaufman administers Novocain or numbing agents. I never had a dentist massage my gums while injecting a needle into my gums until I went to Dr. Kaufman. He also continually asks if I am o.k. during a procedure.
When it comes to staying on top of latest advances, this office is state of the art. Typically a dental office sends crowns and other prosthetics to an outside lab. This can take a couple weeks to complete a procedure. Kaufman Dentistry

I have now been going to Kaufman Dentistry for a couple years. Every appointment, from the second I walk through the door to the second that I leave, has been met with a multitude of pleasurable experiences. Both Matthew and Warren are kind, caring and gentle individuals. They are personable and professional. They take the time, not only to inform, but also to educate me on how to take better care of my teeth. They are thorough, and I never feel rushed. The staff always seems to be smiling and in a positive mood. I'm getting to know them individually, and they seem like one big family! I'm grateful

The level of care I received was excellent. Dr. Matt spent a lot of time with me explaining my issues and charting the best course of action. Also, everyone in the office was so friendly. Visiting the dentist has never been one of my favorite things, but they really made it a comfortable and friendly experience.

I've been a patient for more than 20 years. The service I have received over that time is beyond what I had ever expected. Profession and caring doctors, both of them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The office in modern with the most up to date equipment. Warren and Matthew really care about the treatment they provide and they provide it in a way that makes going to the dentist a pleasant event.
