The food was very flavorful, the old fashion cocktail was great..,but the feeling definitelywas not warm and wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant, my husband and I were given the once over look. There were only 2 tables full and 4 people at the bar.., we got seated in the back,farthest away in the back.., was that because I'm Asian?Not sure why,but it was an uncomfortable .., not a welcoming vibe.

First let me say the service is excellent. The server we had was kind, fun, dynamic, professional, and helpful. She was wonderful. I went at lunch and had a chicken sandwich and fries. It was delicious, I also had hot tea, and they have many more items. Soup of the day, salads, salmon, appetizers. It's an excellent cozy spot! I'll go again!

This is hands down the best restaurant in Stockton! The food prepared by chef Ruby never fails to impress and the menu changes with the seasons. The wait staff here is unmatched and everyone is super friendly. Also the ambiance is a wonderful compliment to the already amazing food. I highly recommend going here and you will see what all the buzz is about!

In a nutshell?: Excellent meals shared with great friends in a very comfortable setting.
Mezzo was good before the pandemic but it's even better now. The menu has been condensed and they seem to be focusing on several entrées the kitchen prepares really well: pasta, veal, salmon, risotto.....with the perfect sauce for each and focaccia for mopping it up.
On our way out I noticed one of the owners and her chef reviewing a possible addition to the menu. Always improving....always evolving.
This neighborhood bistro packs in a big city food and vibe and you will not be disappointed!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted by everyone - sincere and genuine and helpful. I went to the host stand and was greeted by 3 lovely hostesses. They accommodated me throughout my nite specifically Shay, Ruby and Heather. When I ordered my wonderfully lite salad I couldn't believe I actually got rainbow radishes ! The dressing was perfect. Shay made sure I was comfortable and checked in just enough - not under or over. The farm to table and the fact I only had to walk 7 mins from my Marriott is a win win. I'd love to see this place in More cities.

The service was spit in from the great meal to the dessert and the drinks were fabulous I got the watermelon salad and added burata cheese to it and prawns. The carrpachio was also very tasty. The dessert was great to. I highly recommend this place for a nice evening out prices were reasonable for the goof quality food served. They support local vendors such as gold bear ranch hairloom

Went to Mezzo yesterday with my boyfriend, just wanting to try a new place in our town. We looked on Yelp of course and it seems like it was all good. When we got there, we got seating quickly (only because we made a reservation) and the people are nice. The place is kind of "hard" to find since it is in a corner part of the lot but Brookside is nice as we, from Stockton know, that it is.
So, regarding to the food. The price did not match the quality of food. We got focaccia bead, but only 4 small slices which is nothing practically. But we ordered the pesto with angel hair and chicken

Really nice spot to socialize with friends and enjoy some Italian food ! I loved the clam chowder I'm still thinking about it as I'm typing this review!! The pastas were delicious and the waitress / waiters were very nice. Def come and try it out if your craving Italian food.

We had the Watermelon and tomato salad, which was a hit. They did not offer bottled wine, just glasses only because of covid they say. It's probably best because we shouldn't drink so much anyway.
