Cooking since the age of fourteen, Chef Michael Midgley brought his culinary talents to Lincoln Center after opening Midgley's Public House in November of 2014. And it won't be subtle if we take into consideration his nationally recognized awards. Midgley's Public House is an exciting, culinary experience serving American-fusion, paired with spirits and fine wine.

When arriving at the restaurant that me and my mom so eagerly wanted to try for the first time, we were not greeted properly as the host was on her phone. We then asked to order to go in which the host stated that we had to order from the bar. I asked if she was sure and she said let me check, a couple of moments later a waitress comes along and asked us if needed help and assisted us with the order. It would have been five stars if we weren't asked to leave. I mean we just finished wrapping up if they would have waited like five more minutes we would have been gone. But the front-end host rudely asked if we could hurry and wrap it up for the next guest rudely. After we just spent over 200 dollars just for two.

What an enjoyable meal and time. We tried the 48 oz Tomahawk Steal meal for 2. Included salad (each) steak (shared) dessert (each ) We also added ahi nacho appetizer. Delicious. The service was excellent and attentive. Devin was wonderful. The freshly brewed coffee was excellent and perfect when accompanying the cheesecake with strawberry drizzle. The Tomahawk Meal was part of Midgley's Stockton Restaurant Week offering. At least a half-dozen were ordered while we enjoyed ours.

HAPPY HOURS. Services is TERRIBLE. The bar is a social club where the bartender ONLY catered to the friends. Customers that come thru the door get ignore by everyone including the hostess. If you complain ... they technically tell you that you are no welcome.

We came here for my dads birthday dinner and the menu was limited but we ended up getting plenty of food and it was good. Ambience was nice and intimate atmosphere our waitress was nice and check up on us frequently and made sure our party was good, it is located in the Lincoln center we had a good family dinner and for all you folks reading this you should bring your family as well and or your date.

Took my fiancé here for his birthday dinner. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait long for a table. Sat down immediately and the waitress took our drink orders. Our drinks were good. Then we ordered our meals and asked to sample the chowder for the night. She forgot to come back with the sample. It took a long time to get our samples. After 20 mins, we got our food. While waiting, no one came by to say the food was coming or anything. No one came back to check to see how our food was or if we needed anything. Went for my birthday!! It was a Wednesday evening and it wasn't super crowded and service was excellent!!
Split the tomahawk with my hubby and we had plenty for tacos the next evening. Steak was cooked to perfection!! Beautiful sear on the exterior and perfectly pink in the center. The waitress warned us the tomahawks take about 45 to cook so we ordered an appetizer and enjoyed out bottle of wine. They brought out my daughter's meal early so she wouldn't have to wait for our perfect steak to cook. Steak is served with French fries and asparagus and both were delicious accompaniments

Coming here was one of the best dine in experiences I have ever had. Everyone inside was super friendly towards us to the point were they even asked if we needed the temperature adjusted to be more comfortable for us and the baby which was very considerate of them. They saw we had a baby and offered us some mash potatoes for her and wet wipes to clean her up, they even made sure they weren't too hot for her which we appreciated a lot. Everything felt perfectly timed when it came out that I never felt like I was waiting too long or that it came out too fast! The star of our stay however was

I came here before dinner time the right during happy hour and was offered by the host has the option of either having the happy hour menu for the dinner menu. Eye out for the dinner. I opted for the dinner menu. Everything looks so good on the menu and I wanted to order for 5 dishes but ended up getting the ahi nachos and a bowl of French onion soup. I should have just stuck with the ahi nachos because it was a big plate. I really enjoyed the seasoning where it had a nice spicy kick and the ahi was season well. The wonton tortilla chips made it really good because the chips had a light crunch

Enjoyed our Father's Day #brunch with my #family at #Midgley's today. It was a beautiful #Sunday afternoon, so we sat outside. Our server was pleasant, professional and efficient. The only downfall is it took 30 minutes for us to get our food. Once our food came, it looked Awesome and the portions were very generous. We ordered the #PrimeRib #Sliders, #lobster Cobb salad,grilled #salmon, #grilled #asparagus #seafood pasta, cheeseburger, regular, garlic and sweet potato #fries,grilled caesar salad with chicken, mac and cheese and a couple of rounds of #Maitai's and #Patron shots...we were all satisfied

Nice and quiet place and fun to be at. I was surprised. Great beer! Decided to come back and have a strong go at this place. There were four of us and we all were hungry. We were expecting a lot and once we sat down we were greeted with fantastic service. Our servers were excellent and provided prompt service. I had the round house steak and it was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed the mixed drinks and dessert. Before our meal we ordered appetizers and they did not disappoint. If you're in Stockton and are looking for a place to have a nice quiet time and truly enjoy a first-class restaurant
