The Lilypad Garden School offers multiple program options to accommodate the needs of our working parents. Regular hours are 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Mon-Friday. We also offer part-time, 2-3 day programs. Age-appropriate activities are scheduled with flexibility which allows us to respond to the needs of the individual child and day.
We offer times for whole group and individualized instruction, outside play, crafts, stories, and naps appropriate to the child's age, interests, and abilities. We will provide your child with tender loving care, understanding, patience, and guidance. We provide preschool curriculum, developing both large and small motor skills.

Thank you for your interest in my school! I am an Early Childhood educator and mother of three. Teaching is my passion and I feel so blessed to be part of laying the groundwork for life long learning for the precious Lilypad children every day! Prior to opening The Lilypad, I was a Kindergarten teacher for seven years in the North East Independent School District for San Antonio.
At The Lilypad Farm School, we believe that a well-rounded education includes curriculum related to early childhood learning and preschool readiness, but also knowledge about gardening, nutrition and health. We are proud to feature over 1000 feet of garden space with raised beds where we grow all organic, seasonal fruits and vegetables which the students help to plant, water and harvest.
In today's day and age the importance of STEAM based learning is very significant. Careers in these fields are more and more prevalent. For this reason, schools across the country are moving towards a more STEAM based curriculum. STEAM based activities are fun, hands on and engaging, which makes the children's learning experience all the more enjoyable.
Is your child Kindergarten age, but not quite ready? Often times, an extra gift of time is of great benefit to boost a child's self esteem and provides a solid foundation for future school years. Do you desire a hands-on, play-based approach for your child's Early Elementary years, that may not be available in other programs?
Are you looking for a rewarding career? Do you have a passion for nurturing and educating young children? Do you desire a fun and close knit working environment? Does it bring you great joy knowing that you made a monumental difference in a child's early childhood years?. If the answer to these questions is YES, than you have found the right place!

They had a teacher here ms. lexa, I believe her name was Alexa Gomez, that I am so glad they do not have working here anymore. I had my son in her class in late 2019, early 2020 and she seemed nice. My youngest daughter recently found her social media account and it is absolutely sad to see an expecting mother/former teacher of my son talk about illegal substances and wanting to do them while with child. I don’t think someone like that is fit for the lily pad or fit to teach young kids. I love this school veryyyyy much and recommend to anyone. Me and a few of the parents are relieved. People

We've been sending our 4 year old to Lily Pad for one and a half years. We could not be happier with how much she has thrived there. They are so dedicated and clearly love her almost as much as we do. They serve healthy meals, help them learn gardening as well as school fundamentals, make transitions as painless as possible, and they've pivoted extremely well to COVID-19 safety. I only wish I had more kids to send there!

My daughter attended here at just 15 months. As a first time mom and having never left her before the idea of daycare and leaving her with someone else was so unnerving and scary. The staff at the LilyPad made me feel so comfortable, but most importantly they made my daughter feel safe and secure. The peace of mind I had knowing that I would receive updates throughout the whole day was invaluable. They were easy to communicate with and very flexible. I would absolutely entrust my child with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone else!

The nurture and care my children receive at the Lilypad is absolutely amazing . My daughter started at 6 weeks old and now she's 3 in addition my son attends, he is 1. They have both gained so much from this school from education, social skills, to healthy eating habits with the fresh food options. The teachers have loved both my kids day in and day out even through a tantrum or two;) I could not ask for a better place for them to be💕Thank you everyone at the Lilypad

When I first enrolled my son here I had no idea what a great decision I was making. It's been a little over 2 years now since he started attending the Lily Pad and it has been life changing for him and me. From day one the staff has recognized my son's uniqueness and has done everything they can to make him comfortable. As a result he has gone from being socially anxious and withdrawn, to being a little social butterfly. The curriculum and staff are absolutely phenomenal. My son loves going to school and is happier and smarter because of his time at the Lily Pad.
