We grew from a single stylist name (WayZ) working from a 10'x10' room into a 1200 sq foot full storefront hair salon. Demand grew and we now have many employees that we try hard to keep everyone performing at a five star level as we did before when WayZ worked as a single stylist.
At Way-Z Hair Salon we have dedicated hair braiders that specialize in hair braids only. Certain hair braiding services can take 8 working hours so please call ahead and make an appointment and cancel ahead of time courtesy to the braider. Box braids, senegalese twists, kanekalon, brazilian, marley, freetress, fatou, touba are trending right now.
Whether fully natural or "transitioning", these designs give hair a break from daily styling, allowing for a trendy look without damaging the hair. Great option for children. Hair length touching the shoulders or longer will be additional. Hair thickness will also be additional. Determined by the discretion of the professional.

I actually loved the work she did and was trying to make another appointment but she blew me off. Didn’t make my appointment over the phone, said she’d call back but didn’t. I called later and she said she’d call me back but didn’t. I figured she was busy so I texted her number of times over the course of two days with no response. That sucks because she actually does a good job. Fast and efficient. But poor customer service so I took two stars off.

My daughters where there hair naturally and in protective hair styles. Before meeting Danielle, we traveled to a hair salon in Northern VA to get their hair braided. After meeting Danielle approximately three years ago, we haven’t gone to any other hair salons. I have no idea what treatments Danielle uses, but my girls/young adults both have stated how they love the fact that their hair is ALWAYS clean. I can also testify that their hair has grown and continues to grow because we take pictures of their hair before they return to the hair salon. The time frames that Danielle gives are always on

Poor overall service. The receptionist was a pleasure. She was friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. I had an appointment for two strand twists but patiently waited for over an hour for stylist to arrive. (I only waited that long because I was stalling for time while my vehicle was being repaired). While the receptionist washed and conditioned my hair the stylist finally arrived. The owner approached her to let her know I’ve been waiting over an hour. I didn’t hear the rest of the conversation because I was placed under the dryer. Next thing I know the stylist walks out. After asking

Happiness is when your hair stylist proves she's the G.O.A.T. and gives you a protective style sew-in that looks exactly like your hair!!!! The process did not take very long, and the braiding was done with zero discomfort; they weren’t too tight and I have had no pain. This salon has not disappointed. Way-Z is my go to when I need to trim my natural hair. It is now my go to when it’s time for my tresses to have a break. My hair is absolutely fabulous. Thanks Way-Z!

I really was very pleased with Way Z doing my weave, I share with her the photos, of me with weave hairstyles, she did a great/beautiful job. The wait time was great, my experience with some beauty salon, it took the hair stylist up to 5 or 8 hours to get the same hairstyle that Way Z gave me in less time. Her prices is compatible with other salon, very friendly place, staff, very clean. Some stylist pull your hair while braiding, or sewing in. Way Z is very gentle. As I stated I don't have to spend almost all day in the shop, as I did before and I still received the same/better result. I will

Way Z has been doing my hair since before she got her own salon. She not only does my hair but my mothers hair. She does a wonderful job with my tricky requests (thick natural hair, military styles), and always seems to remember what we chatted about the last time I saw her. I enjoy going to the salon and will be sad when I move for college.

Update: My friend told me to check out the owner's response. The response is a joke. Instead of trying to correct the problem they want to blame the customer or act like the responses are coming from fake accounts. My message to you is take pride in your business, correct the problems and listen to your customers. Now I am beginning to believe that most of your positives were posted by the owner, talk about fake. Many of businesses have failed because of denial. I had not planned on posting the picture of the mess I left with but now I will down load it to the gallery.
