Services
At Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service, we understand that older people can live independently as they age if they are in an environment that provides much more than just a place to live. Understanding the key elements of successful aging, our housing is rich with activity and social interaction.
The Federated Senior Housing Associates, an organization of family and community volunteers committed to the best possible quality of life for the residents of the Jewish Federation Senior Housing buildings and Saltzman merged with the JGH Auxiliary in 2015 to become the Friends of Jewish Senior Housing.
Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service is proud to be affiliated with several local Jewish organizations, as well as the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and its Institute for Successful Aging. We host educational programs for the community throughout the year in collaboration with the university, as well as with our partners in rehabilitation and through other agencies of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.
At the Jewish Senior Housing and Healthcare Service, we know that meaningful social and recreational activities make a significant, positive impact on the lives of our residents. That's why we've created an active lifestyle filled with fun and friends - and no other affordable housing community in the area offers this type of life-enriching programming.
The Jewish Federation Housing and Management Company, a division of JSHHS, offers an affordable apartment building, Saltzman House, on the east side of Cherry Hill, right behind the Jewish Community Center. For those who are self-sufficient, or require a handicapped accessible apartment, our affordably priced senior communities offer one-bedroom and studio apartments with a full activity program, as well as a hot, Kosher lunch program.
