First Choice Chiropractic is located at the four corners in Waymart at the intersection of Route 6 (Roosevelt Hwy) and Route 296 (Belmont Turnpike). The clinic is about 6 miles east of Carbondale and 8 miles west of Honesdale. Depending on the patient, there are several different chiropractic treatments from which to choose.

Patient preference, physical condition, exam findings, and doctor experience help to determine which treatment would be most effective. Some of these treatments include: manual (hands on), drop table, instrument adjusting therapy, and therapeutic exercise or a combination of these. Many patients have an idea from past experience of what works for them and we strive to work within their comfort level.
Services
Dr. Bruce Warninger attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he completed his clinic internship and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 1980. While at Palmer College he was recognized as demonstrating superior clinical proficiency while serving in the capacity of intern in the Palmer College of Chiropractic Clinic, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit.
It is not morally or ethically right for us to guarantee that you will respond to treatment. No doctor can guarantee a cure for any disease or condition. But at 1st Choice Chiropractic Centre we do believe that all patients should have assurances of what they can expect to receive when starting treatment at our clinic.
The First Choice Chiropractic Centre, located in Waymart, opened in January of 2009. Our purpose is to provide quality chiropractic care with a personal touch and for patients to be treated as a friend instead of a block of time. We want to be honest and straightforward in our discussions and recommendations.
Many insurance plans in Pennsylvania cover chiropractic treatment, including x-rays and exams. First Choice Chiropractic is a participating and preferred provider with most insurances companies. If your insurance company is not listed, please contact our office as we work with most insurance companies.
A: All health care costs have risen sharply in the last 10 years, but a typical chiropractic treatment program that may last for 6 to 8 weeks still costs less than one day in a hospital. A significant cost of care is due to billing and collections costs. We have a special fee for those who pay at time of service and bill their own insurance which is about 50% less than our regular fee.

I would just like to say that Dr. Bruce has helped me greatly. I have been going to him for 4 months. I was hardly able to walk with pain in both my legs. The first week I was there he had me walking very well with much less pain. After a month I had absolutely no pain. I now feel like I'm 20 years old. He is a great doctor and a great human being. I would recommend him to anyone. I regard him highly.

My name is Chef Anthony. I'm a personal chef. I was an evacuee of the recent hurricane Irma incident in North Florida. While visiting with family in Hawley, Pa. I was feeling lots of discomfort in my neck and shoulder region. I did a Google search for medical massage therapy. When I called 1st Choice I actually spoke with John, this is the awesome person who said I'll get you on the schedule. Well after a half hour massage, I feel like a new man. I had a wonderful experience and you will too. Do yourself a favor, get to 1st Choice and have John work out your kinks!!!😁

Dr Warninger is a really nice guy and even a better doctor. After a few appointments my neck and back felt great and have remained that way ever since. The entire staff is very nice and easily accommodates different appointment times and days.
