After playing football in high school and competing in power-lifting in college until this day, Chiropractic has helped him to maintain good spinal health in order to be able to do what he is most passionate about. He also is currently enrolled in the masters of nutrition program at New York Chiropractic College and is very knowledgeable in the field of nutrition, helping patients incorporate proper diet as well as chiropractic care.
As young teenager, Mindy was diagnosed with moderately severe idiopathic scoliosis, which is an abnormal curvature of the spine. To make matters worse, a car accident at eighteen put her in a wheelchair for a few months. By the time she was a young wife and mother, she was struggling with debilitating and constant back pain.
I grew up knowing nothing about Chiropractic. If I got hurt or sick I went to the family physician to get better. When I started working at Carbondale Chiropractic Center back in 2012 I quickly understood how much that was not true.
As I was learning how the body and nervous system actually worked I started to think back to my childhood and how often I was sick in my teenage years and through my 20's with at least 2 respiratory and sinus infections a year.Instead of heading to the doctor's constantly for medicine, what I truly needed was to be getting adjusted throughout my life.

I injured my back 2+ yrs ago, being young & healthy I figured it would correct itself. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I was able to manage the pain & tolerance but had no idea I was continuing to do further damage. Finally decided it was time to get checked out because nothing else was working. Found Dr. Joe & staff through Facebook and gave it a shot. Longer story cut short, I feel much better, pain is basically non-existent and would recommend them to anyone considering to get adjusted.

Awesome staff, very kind, caring, and very informative. They keep you on track and informed during the entire treatment plan. I have been suffering from severe back pain for years and 2 weeks ago I saw an ad for Carbondale Chiropractic on Facebook and decided why not give it a chance and see if it could help, I figured what is the worse that could happen. Well let me tell you, I am only on my fourth adjustment and I have already been able to cut down on my pain meds and I… know that it will only get better from here. So if you suffer from chronic back pain give them a call and see what they can do for you, I know that they may be able to do wonders for you, just like they did for me.

I just started coming to see Dr. Joe 3 weeks ago, and my overall well-being has immensely improved! I came here for neck pain and found out what was causing it. This was the first I have heard of this issue as well as the importance of spinal health is. I look forward to getting my 3 adjustments a week and will be sad when it goes down to once a week! Prior to coming I was really depressed and exhausted all of the time.. I am no longer taking my medication for sleep and have so much more energy and an improvement in my mood! I drive 40 minutes to come here and it is so worth it! I can’t begin

I been going to this place a little over a month and the difference in the way i feel is great. Im a sub contractor so being sore i thought was normal but now i realize the difference from now an then. My neck an lower back was always in pain now idont have the swelling on my lower back and my neck barley bothers me anymore. The whole staff are the nicest people you will ever meet great place to go to get back on the right track

I would like to take the time to share my experience at Carbondale Chiropractic Center. I recently started to suffer from acute neck pain related to a sports injury. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Mindy at the front desk. I’ve never had to go to a chiropractor for anything prior but Mindy took the time to make sure I was comfortable and prepared… for my appointment. She was very polite and friendly! I called Dr. Gary Latimer on a Saturday night with SEVERE sciatic nerve pain and was given some immediate pain relieving techniques that would not make matters worse. I was then scheduled in for the VERY NEXT MONDAY morning. Upon entering the staff was warm, welcoming, understanding and courteous. Their primary concern was not just to get me some… relief. But to also help educate me on some practical measures that I could take to help prevent any future episodes of discomfort for overall wellness. I have only watched Dr Gary’s lives on Facebook and have not gotten adjusted by him, but I see he does wonders with his hands and everyone who goes to him and the rest of the staff leaves happy. He is an awesome chiropractor and is well educated in his chiropractics background. I thought the video of him adjusting his new grandson was absolutely a beautiful moment and that if more people tried chiropractics they see it does help. I’d recommend this place to anyone I could.
