Commitment to provide all families a means of recognizing a life with a tribute service that is not only meaningful, but affordable to all. The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home has been established in the community of Plymouth, Indiana since 1879 and its staff is committed to providing care that goes beyond the expected in serving today's families who call Marshall County their home.
Through the years, names, faces and buildings have changed. What has not changed is our commitment to providing all families a means of recognizing a life with a tribute service that is not only meaningful, but affordable to all. Over the course of the past 141 years, seven families have been stewards of what has become a part of the community landscape.

Services
In 1879, what was to be one of Plymouth's oldest businesses was established to serve all of Marshall County. The J. Leonard & Son Carriage and Undertaking firm became located opposite the Plymouth Opera House on West LaPorte Street. A tradition of quality service and value had begun that would span three centuries.
While some funeral homes simply promote the owners and the fact that they are locally owned, we acknowledge that the level of service that is provided by our funeral home could not be achieved if it were not for the efforts of our dedicated staff. Jim is a 1978 graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Chicago, IL.
If a death occurs at a residence or care facility we will pick-up your loved one and transport them from the place of death to our cremation facility immediately, no matter the hour. Our Arrangement Center hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am until 5 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
Death in an Institution: When the death occurs at a hospital or nursing home the medical staff should take care of notifying the funeral home. You simply need to advise the medical staff that Johnson-Danielson is the funeral home assisting with arrangements and they will have you sign any necessary release papers.
We believe public visitation with the presence of family and friends, coupled with a ceremonial tribute is an important means of healing grief. Our professional staff strives to personalize each service, so that it is truly a memorable experience and fitting event.
