In 2003, the Piton Foundation founded the Early Excellence Program of Denver as part of the Wyatt-Edison Charter School to provide a school readiness program for families in the Denver-Cole community. Two years later, Early Excellence became its own nonprofit entity, focused on providing high-quality educational programs to our community.
At Early Excellence, students are encouraged to learn, grow and discover more about themselves and the beautiful world we live through a well-designed, creative and stimulating curriculum and classroom learning environment. Through ongoing observations and assessments, our dedicated teachers specially craft and design an instruction plan for each child.
The Early Excellence Program of Denver is a non-profit, tuition based preschool program that gladly accepts children ages 2.5 to 5 years old on a full-time year-round basis. Although most of our classroom openings are for full-time students, Early Excellence does accept part-time student enrollment, in special circumstances.
Research has proven that family involvement in children's schooling can lead to improved academic performance, self-esteem, and cognitive development. Become a part of your child's time at Early Excellence by reading our tips on keeping your family connected from The DLM Early Childhood Express:. Talk with your child about your school days, sharing memories about special teachers, friends, and events.
