My friend and I attended a mind numbing performance at MAC and needed a drink to wash away the bad memories / scars !!
I have lived in Mesa since 1995 and have always wanted to visit this restaurant, so we popped in since it was so close.
We had a great time and both enjoyed our drinks. Owners were friendly and easy to talk to.
We will be going back to try their lunch menu :)

This restaurant doesn't seem like much from the outside. It's not located in a fancy district or anything. But, the atmosphere inside is almost as amazing as the food. I moved here from California 6 years ago and consistently have trouble finding food worth going back to. The risotto and bruschetta were on par with some of the best Italian restaurants in LA. This is a must stop eatery!

I spent 30 bucks for a horrible burger and cheesecake. I ordered my burger well done with fries. And it took less than 5 min to complete the order. The burger or my bun were worth 30 bucks. The cheesecake wasn't much better either. Honestly I would have preferred a big Mac or whopper it would have been fresh and hot atleast.

Lots of gluten-free options! They have a GF lunch and dinner menu on their website. Great place for people with celiac disease. They have both GF and non-GF options. Always great service and great food. They have a lot of wine options, if you are a wine aficionado! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I had dinner here for the first time over the weekend after driving by it for 2 years. My in-laws have lived in Mesa for over 30 years, and it’s been around since they’ve been in Mesa. I had the Hatch Green Chile Burger with fries, and it was outstanding! The flavor was excellent and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the shrimp risotto and that was also delicious! They had Dr. Dave playing music that evening and it made for a great atmosphere. He wasn’t t playing too loud so you could still hear the conversation at your table, and he took requests! We celebrated our third anniversary here yesterday! The ambience is quaint with low lighting. It was romantic and not very busy for a Friday night, but we also got there kind of late!
The food was amazing! We got the Burrata caprese and the classic bruschetta as appetizers. It smelled so lovely and the freshness was absolutely insane. For entrees we got the Linguine bolognese and the Pasta Vinaio. While the bolognese was a pretty basic red meat sauce, it was yummy. But the Vinaio pasta was bomb! The white sauce was kind of tangy which complemented the chicken and peppers really well!

What a fabulous find! A superb locally owned and operated restaurant and wine bar. Such a relaxing and refreshing dinner restaurant. Food was top notch and flavorful. They are very attentive to any food allergies you might and didn't make a big deal about it.
We enjoyed the whole experience while dining there. Definitely going back and joining the monthly wine club. Check it out, you'll enjoy ever part of it.

This is the best socially distance restaurant in the East Valley. Cam is an excellent chef and his dinner pairing are wonderful. The atmosphere
and the wait staff is terrific.; great job Cindy, Bree and Kelly. The live entertainment is always fun and the wine club is definitely special. The wine pairing dinners are something you don't want to miss!!

Run AWAY. Over priced!! This place is meant for folk 65+ and have staff of the same age. Bad food, bad service. Overall a waste of time and money. I was so shocked to see how many stars they have! Currently writing this review as I'm waiting for our waiter to stop chatting away and cash us out or at least fill up our glasses with water. I don't understand how there still in business.

We have been eating at Il Vinaio for 12 years. If you haven't eaten here you are missing out, Chef Cameron is amazing! The dishes he prepares are incredibly delicious and he only uses the very best and freshest ingredients. You will not find anywhere similar dishes as his are very unique and inventive. We cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant enough, we eat here on average once a week.

Came on a Sunday and had the bottomless champagne and some breakfast. It was a great experience. The staff were kind and patient. The feel of the restaurant had a great vibe to it. We will most assuredly be returning. The menu has many things I'd love to try and it's hard to pass on bottomless champagne.

They introduced me to antelope burger - yes, antelope - if you are a carnivore, you must try a antelope burger from il Vinaio in Mesa!

We just enjoyed I'll Vinaio's micro Thanksgiving meal! THE BEST turkey dinner I have had anywhere!The white meat was so juicy!!! Breanna is amazing! She always remembers what we like to drink and always remembers what we have going on in our lives! Unfortunately I have to give this restaurant one star.
Here's why:
When I walked in, the place smelled musty, greasy, and dirty (and that's while wearing a mask).
The table we sat at had a couch on one side, and the fabric and pillows appeared to never have been washed.
The waitress was kind, but she didn't ask all 4 of us what we wanted to drink. My iced tea was awful. My friend sent back her flat diet soda.
The food was mediocre. After the 5 star reviews I read before coming here, I was just so surprised and disappointed.
Also, a staff member yelled at another coworker, "

I went for the Antelope Burger after reading some reviews and fell in love with the menu. It's far more creative and diverse than I originally thought it would be. I'll be going back very soon for a couple of specialties on their menu.
And the glass of Riesling was so delicious.

No doubt the burger is superior! With house made fries from real potatoes to house made pickles! Their menu is full of delisious food! Wanted the best burger but really could have had a flat bread, or the cheese share platter with nuts and olives with toasted crostini's!
