In the summer of 1982, my freshman year of high school, I started out as a laborer for my father's (James E. Holson) company. We specialized in sheet metal roofing and were located just outside Washington, D.C. in Prince George's County, Maryland. During many years of hard work learning a very rewarding trade, my father taught me a lot about the business.
Being one of fourteen children (ten girls and four boys), my father and my mother, "Patsy" Holson, did a great job raising and providing for us. When I started my own family in 2003, I decided to open my own construction company. Although sheet metal roofing will always flow in my veins, we've expanded to broader areas of the construction field.
