Owners Mark and Laurie Thomas moved here to Fort Myers, FL in October of 2004 from West Warwick, Rhode Island. In January of 2005, Mark and Laurie bought The Clam Bake Restaurant. Mark is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and has been in the food service industry for over 30 years. Mark opened his own catering business in March of 1998 under the name Valley View Catering.
He later bought a small breakfast and lunch restaurant, called Crossroads Restaurant, located in the town of West Warwick. In addition to serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week, he also ran his catering business from the restaurant. He opened one night during dinner, during which he served New England seafood.

Services
Having grown up in New England, and transplanted to SWFL over 20 years ago, I still insist that the taste of New England seafood still beats any seafood I have tried! I love the Clam Bake Restaurant and have converted several friends to love it too! Try the oysters, haddock, clams, steamers, perfectly cooked lobster and the best New England clam chowder in town if you get a chance!

Grew up in Warwick going to Rocky Point and BI, Martha's Vinyard. This place has all the great New England favorites. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious, well worth the money with a generous portion of lobster and not over seasoned. The dinning room was busy and that tells you all you need to know about the quality of the rest of the menu. Staff were polite and fun to talk to. A must for any New Englander wanting a taste of home.

A great place! The chowder was amazing. For my meal I had the early bird special, linguine marinara with clams it was delicious and about twice the size I was expecting. My waitress which was so helpful (I just knew it had to be the owner but was just a long time employee) was great. Definitely recommend The Clam Bake.

This is a lovely place to eat. Their seafood is very well cooked and flavorful. My husband and I took my parents here celebrating their birthdays. My Mom turned 84 and my Dad will be 86 a week from now. The staff is beyond kind. They are very sweet and informative. The hostess is so nice you'll want to hug her. The wait staff is on the money... Fast and efficient! My parents were given a huge slice of Boston Creme Pie for dessert. I recommend this restaurant highly and this is my favorite restaurant in Florida. Thank you all!!! We will be back. I will include pictures of this awesome food. Ohhh

A New England Style seafood restaurant. Have been coming here since before they moved from the other side of the shopping center. The atmosphere is pub-like with comfortable booths. There's a full bar. Service is always excellent. The food is really good. At first glance the prices seem a little high, but this is fresh seafood. Fried items are hand battered. The prices are fair for this type of food. Overall, the food tends not to be spice. That's not to say it's not very flavorful!. Recommend the fried oysters and the New England Clam Chowder ("chowduh"). Wicked awesome!
