Our office is extremely pleased that you chose us to treat your dental needs. We believe that an emergency should be seen as soon as possible. Only on rare occasions have we not been able to see emergencies on the same day that you call. We do not like to have any of our patients in discomfort. However, I cannot prescribe narcotics for anyone that I have not examined to be certain of the problem.

Oral cancer is a very deadly and debilitating disease. The five year survival rate has changed very little over the decades. Smoking, alcohol, and especially chewing tobacco are still the main causes of oral cancer; however, new research has pointed to another culprit, the HPV virus.
