The dental team at Great Beginnings Pediatric Dentistry knows you have many options to choose from for your child's dental care. We don't want to be just another choice. We want to be the best children's dentist in Northeast Ohio. Dental treatment goes smoothly when your child can relax and cooperate. At Great Beginnings, we have many tricks up our sleeves to make it easier for kids to do both! Dr. Laura, Dr. Rachel and the team at Great Beginnings use TSD with each child during their dental experience. With this technique, dental team members first tell the patient what is going to be done with appropriate terminology.
You'll find our pediatric dental office conveniently located to Solon, Twinsburg, Hudson, OH and Aurora, OH. Vail Drive is located off of Glenwood Avenue Drive at the new traffic circle at the border of Solon & Twinsburg. For those traveling north on Route 91 from Stow & Hudson, you'll take the first exit onto Glenwood Drive.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Rachel studied as a Buckeye at The Ohio State University, where she received a B.S.in Biology. She continued her education there and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. In addition, Dr. Rachel completed two years of advanced training at The Boston University School of Dental Medicine, with a pediatric dental residency.
Dr. Laura attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for her dental school training. She completed here postdoctoral specialty training at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospitals of Cleveland, as well as Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. Her education now also included 20 years of hands-on experience caring for the dental health care needs of infants, children, and adolescents.

My boys are new patients and today was our first visit. The staff and dentists were absolutely amazing. The took the time to explain to my children what they were doing. One of my sons is extremely afraid of dentists and this was the FIRST time that he sat into the chair by himself and didn’t cry at all! After just 1 visit they were able to give me explanations and recommendations that I’ve been searching for. I highly recommend!

I can’t even begin to share the level of professionalism paired with the friendliest bedside manner from the moment you walk in the door. Everyone in this office makes you feel special! All employees are AMAZING with kids - and especially proven as my two daughters literally ask “when do we get to go to the dentist next?!” - with excitement - never fear. Dr. Rachel is absolutely incredible at what she does. Not only being beyond knowledgeable in her craft- she has such a compassionate approach with kids- and makes them feel comfortable and heard. The entire staff was so very friendly and sweet . The friendly hygienist met us at the door and walked us back to our seat right away and got started . The dentist is so awesome every time , so sweet and talkative to my daughter and takes the time to listen to my daughters little stories. Such a nice place , uplifting fun environment & the staff is just the best !

This place is just phenomenal! Every single person in the office is beyond awesome. My son's had some pretty serious work done there and they've made something scary feel safe and comfortable for him (and me!). They're all so patient and kind. I'm just so thankful we found this office. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great Beginnings and Dr. Rachel and Nurse Rachel are amazing! They treated my 8-week old baby girl for a tongue tie and lip tie and did a great job. They very thoroughly explained the process and made us feel super comfortable about the entire thing. And they weren’t wrong- my baby did quite well and was sleeping in my arms shortly after the procedure. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Being a FTM, I've found Great Beginnings a savior! When my daughter was three weeks old, she had her upper lip tie cut and the entire staff was so kind to not only my daughter, but myself as well. They kept in contact via texting and emailing with questions I had which made me feel confident with her oral needs.
We had our first check up today, the… staff not only educated me on how to brush with proper techniques, but also gave samples to keep us brushing safely.
I never thought I would be happy to take my daughter to the dentist, but Great Beginning's facility is just a wonderful, bright

I had taken my kids to different dentists over the years. They have had some fillings done and let's just say it hasn't always been an amazing experience. Coming into the dentist's with a fair amount of dental anxiety, my kids had work from a silver crown, fillings and extractions and despite their anxiety the doctors made them feel very good and comfortable. They love these dentists! Even with the tears, the Dr Rachel was so good about communicating with them. Everything about this office will make you feel good. All the staff is supportive, kind, and welcoming. You don't feel pressured to do

So glad we found Great Beginnings!! I knew my daughter would be scared for her first visit but everyone was so AWESOME with making her feel comfortable. They let her view the tools and showed her how they work before diving it. It really provided some comfort to my little one. Dr. Laura noticed a tongue tie issue (that I have been begging my daughter’s physician to correct) and immediately scheduled my daughter for surgery to correct it. Dr. Rachel performed the surgery and was awesome!! Even with the follow up after surgery. I highly recommend Great Beginnings. The service is excellent from

Just the BEST. I can’t think of a more organized or pleasant business to work with. From appointment reminders to billing, the organization is exemplary. Every single employee is just delightful, especially Dr’s Rachel and Laura- two of the nicest ladies you could ever hope to meet. We drive across town to come here when we could find a dentist much closer. I just wish there was a place like this when I was a kid!!

I had my daughter in for her first ever dentist visit today and it could not have been a better experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made her feel very comfortable. She was so excited when we left and said she can’t wait for her next visit. Also, the covid safety protocols followed were some of the best I have seen. I’ve already told my sisters they should schedule for my nieces and nephews here!

I really do love this dental office for my kiddos. My 2 year old has been going here for the past year. Every visit has us with the kindest dental assistants and front desk staff. I really love Drs. Laura and Rachel. They just have great energies and are super patient with my daughter, who also has a speech delay. So primary communication is to cry. We're able to get through our appointment quickly, albeit with tears from an unfamiliar experience. I think their office is awesome! Very colorful, toys and computers to play with in the waiting area. They give each kid a toy and had my daughter

Dr Laura is an amazing pediatric dentist! My son absolutely loves her. She is so kind/sweet, makes the whole dental experience a breeze. Even getting a cavity filled isn't so bad - she always knows what to say to put my son at ease. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We won't go anywhere else!
