I'm new to Studio O. I saw Gabby for highlights and a cut after a complimentary consultation a couple of days beforehand with her and Oscar. I showed them a picture of my highlighted blonde hair - what I didn't want and a picture of a style and color from the internet of what I did want. Gabby is fabulous! She listened and I love everything about my new look. I also want to compliment Studio O on their communications, unlike my former salon where communication was hit and miss. They sometimes took 2 weeks to reply to text inquiries for an appt, if they ever replied. Salon O makes

I love Studio O. Steve, who cuts and colors my hair, is amazing! He is attentive and provides his honest feedback such as a particular style may not work because my hair is coarse. He lets me know the reason why. I appreciate his honestly. He is great at color! He did a Brazilian blow out for me that I would so again. He is great stylist and good person too!

Coming here ruined my life and caused me serious emotional trauma. my hair possibly couldn't get any worse than it was before well now all of the platinum hair in those first photo has broke off completely my hair is even shorter on top and it was when he first broke it off. I am upset about this every single day it literally wrecked my hair coming here do not go here RUN unprofessional mean and terrible. That tiny piece of platinum holding on is a little bit of my original hair everything else snapped off which was my healthy regrowth don't ever come to the salon

I had a great cut here back in 2017 with Travis (who is no longer there). I just tried to book again (with Amanda), and I can't make a reservation unless I give them my credit card information. While I understand the desire to cut back on no-shows, it is such a pet peeve of mine when businesses ask for payment information for a reservation. It is a poor practice because it basically indicates that they don't trust their clients. So, Sorry Studio O -- you don't get my business again.

Amanda has been cutting and coloring my hair since she started at the salon however, she comes with 10+ years experience in a 5 star salon in the heart of Richmond Virginia.
Today, I went to see my Sugar Aesthetician and she couldn't stop complimenting my hair. Well, Amanda balayaged my locks about 6 months ago and we have been trying to "brighten" my blonde. She has nailed it! My aesthetician said, "She must have toned it, I love the color, it looks soon good!" I replied, "No she doesn't tone it, SHE IS THAT GOOD!" and i mean it. My hair is happy, healthy

Updating my review just to let you know this place is STILL AMAZING!!! Steve Romero was gifted to me by the hair Gods!!! Once you go and experience the salon you'll never look back. Everyone is friendly and super talented. Oscar makes sure everyone follows proper covid protocol and you can go in and feel safe and comfortable. If you haven't been here, you and your hair are missing out!!

If you desire to get what you came for, Studio O is the place to go. Their communication with their clients is top notch. Before they start your hair, they ask you a ton of questions to ensure they know what you truly want. Also, they tell you what it'll cost upfront so you're not blindsided. Tiffany especially does a great job at giving your hair the quality attention it deserves and is great to chat with. Although I haven't been to the other stylists, they all definitely seem to value their customers and are doing what they can to keep everyone safe. The atmosphere is very professional

This place is great! My daughter and I had moved to the area during the pandemic and It had literally been a year since we had a proper haircut. We were fortunate to get scheduled with Malina and Tiffany on the same day...both of them did an amazing job cutting our long hair! They were both welcoming, skilled and friendly. The shop was clean, Covid conscious and other staff had great customer service...thank you Malina, Tiffany and Studio O we will be back for sure!!

I have been seeing Oscar, the owner of The Studio O, for my hair .... color, cut and style..... for over 20 years. When he opened his salon in Long Beach, there was no decision to be made. Of course I would travel from Fullerton to Long Beach, and when I moved to Dana Point I continued the drive once a month to have the best of the best take care of my hair.
Oscar listens to his clients whether they are decisive or not sure of what they want. He makes suggestions, but never forces his opinion, which is as it should be. The quality of his work is of the highest standard in all three areas

Absolutely LOVE my hair! I highly recommend this studio. Oscar did an amazing job on my hair. I requested for a belayage and showed him a photo of what I was aiming for. He perfected & achieved the color & cut I requested for. He put a lot of love into my hair & it's evident that he's passionate about his craft. Don't sleep on this place, you won't regret coming here.

I am writing this as a still sit in the chair, but I just literally couldn't wait. I found The Studio O through Yelp, after my last stylist moved states. I researched a lot of different salons, but this place really stood out to me. I booked a balayage & cut with Amanda for about a week out. Amanda is SO NICE!! She really really took her time talking to me about exactly what I wanted, and trust me I was SPECIFIC. I wanted a low maintenance blonde, & I wanted to keep my brownie top. I also wanted a money piece, a not too icy tone. & a cut that gave my long hair movement & body

Love my new stylist, Amanda. She asked questions and made great suggestions. This hair salon is right on second Street next to a few nicE restaurants. The salon is very busy And I suggest calling to make an appointment. I actually made my appointment through yelp and it was a very easy process. I booked my next appointment for my haircolor in two weeks. My daughter will be getting a haircut from Amanda as well.

Ah... When I think of The Studio O, I feel comfort, relief and a deep sense of appreciation! Two weeks before my wedding, I decided to have balyage and most of my virgin hair turned bright orange. Naturally, I freaked out. I covered my hair with coconut oil and wore a hat to work. Luckily, Oscar was able to fit me in and turned this pumpkin into a princess, just in time for my wedding - lightening and toning my hair, not once but TWICE. He wouldn't stop until it was perfect. He also consulted with a colorist for a second opinion. I knew I was in great hands. I felt like a queen from the moment
