In 1963, Kenneth H Crew started his insurance career in Buffalo, NY after serving in the USMC "Semper Fi". He moved his business to Wilmington, North Carolina in the 70's, and in the mid 80's, he felt the pull to move his business to his home in Holly Ridge. Today, the business is operated by his daughter, Coral and son-in-law, David making them the second generation to run the family business.
Their daughter, Claudia joined the family business in 2016, which to this day still chokes up her grandfather when he speaks of the impact he made on his family way back in 1963, when he decided to try his hand at selling insurance. Good insurance company, if you’re able to go in person and pay. Friendly down to earth workers as well. Unfortunately for me due to the coronavirus I have to pay over the phone, since I work out of town due to covid. When I call to pay my bill I either get voice mail or no til tone and no call back unless it’s after after my bill is due and they charge me for a late fee. What really has me frustrated is speaking with an representative and discussing billing and when to pay. Just so I can follow up on my part and be doubled charged. Please do better with communicating and assisting customers

If your shopping for reasonably priced insurance then Crew Insurance is not the right place for you. My own stupidity for paying their extraordinary high premiums but every quote I shopped was less than Crew Insurance. My premiums now are half what I was paying and better coverage. Beware of this place !!!
