Cindy has been a resident of Cleveland Heights for 25 years, has been working behind her chair at Abstract for nearly 30 years. She purchased the salon 15 years ago, and has been focusing on helping the girls in her salon family grow to be the best they can be.
Cindy has completed numerous advanced training programs through Paul Mitchell and many more product lines, and her goal is to provide her employees with the highest levels of current training available.After graduating from the Ohio Academy of Paul Mitchell, Nicole (aka Nikki) joined the salon family in early 2012.

Edit: (I would have added another review, but google doesn't do that). the folks here helped me out with a short notice (simple mens) haircut when I needed it. I feel this deserves another positive comment. very awesome.

I just got the best cut I've ever had in Cleveland. Nicole took her time and did a fantastic job on my quite unruly hair. The place and all the people were super nice, and two of the most adorable little pooches. They also put up with my nonstop prattling with grace :).

Cindy, Jordan and Lizzie were the best! My mother was in town for surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and they squeezed her in just before closing. My mother was thrilled with her cut and style and can now have a simple and easy look that works with the physical limitations after open heart surgery during healing. They also worked with her to donate the length removed for cancer patient wigs. Awesome people, awesome place.

Have been getting my hair cut and balayage colored by Jordan DiFranco for about a year now. She is so talented and such a great listener! Every time I come in with a new request, she delivers everything I wanted and more! She is so sweet and easy to talk to as well. I just cannot say enough good things! Book an appointment with her-you won't regret it!
Also, I wanted to note that Abstract is really taking social distancing, mask wearing, and sanitizing seriously. I was going there pre-pandemic and it was amazing to see how they changed the way they do things to keep themselves and their clients

Severely disappointed with my experience with Jordan. I’m new to Cleveland and decided to try abstract after reading reviews. I came in to cut 8in off my hair which we found I could donate 8in, she “eye-balled” this and didn’t use a ruler. Needless to say my hair is much much shorter than I wanted with her taking >11in off my hair. She soaked my shirt through with the wash, and then they told me to leave with wet hair even though I booked a wash, cut, and style. Letting people leave with wet hair is not something I have ever encountered getting my hair cut. She then blamed whoever booked

I picked this location from previous reviews and their stated covid policies. I was really impressed. Every stated policy was followed and I felt perfectly protected. Cindy gave me an excellent haircut after consulting with me on my likes and dislikes. I will return.

Jordan has been doing my hair for almost two years, and I have always been very satisfied. Jordan’s expertise, personality, attention to detail, and superior sanitation practices have made me feel comfortable and beautiful each time I come to Abstract. You will want to book her well in advance since the schedule of a cosmetologist this good fills up quickly; however, Jordan goes the extra mile to give you the look you want each time. You won’t be disappointed!
