My first son graduated from La Marina 3 1/2 years ago. My 2nd son is attending La Marina. I work very close to the school and pop in and out regularly to have lunch and say hi to my child. The staff has always been GREAT. They are patient and loving with the kids and have rules that the children gladly follow.
Their teaching techniques are exactly what you would expect from throughly trained teachers. La Marina Preschool have being a part of our family since 2008 when my daughter started preschool. Back then she was only 2 1/2 years old and she graduated in 2011 from Kindergarten with a excellent education and specially with memories that will stay with us forever.

Stimulating experience which encourage the children to think and analyze problems to help them arrive at a solution. Our main focuses are to provide the opportunity for academic learning and help in developing a good self-image, while becoming aware of others. We encourage the children to express themselves through material, language, and movement by providing ample time with adequate freedom.
My son has been going to La Marina for the past 2 years. The staff and teachers are attentive, positive and enthusiastic. My son has learned so much going here - so much so that when they saw that my son could be challenged even more in his 4 year old class, they bumped him up to the kindergarten class.
My grandson has been going here for almost a year and he loves it and so do I! The teachers are so warm and attentive it sure is nice knowing your leaving them in a loving safe place. Thank you for taking such loving care of my grandson! The teachers at North Torrance are extremely caring and loving.

Physical, emotional, and social needs which are met in a safe, caring and supportive environment. Programs designed to the children's age, skills, interest and abilities through a variety of challenging and recreational activities.
