We are a family owned and operated automotive repair shop which has been servicing the greater Waukee for almost 20 years. Founded by Bob Lund in 1998, Lund Motors grew from a small used car lot and auto repair shop to a seven man operation with two locations. Bob was later joined by his sons Chris, Jeff and Jeremy, all graduates of Waukee high school with the dream of building a lasting legacy for the Lund family.
In 2015, the success of our Waukee location allowed us to expand and open our specialty shop in Adel. Our specialty shop specializes performance enhancements and long-term restoration projects. We are also proud to be one of the few places in Iowa offering vehicle tuning on our Superflow chassis dyno.

Shortly after moving to the area needed a repair, quick. Went to Lund Motors because they were close by. We have kept going because they are really excellent. This was our first time using Lund. Jeff was able to work us in to their schedule so my son could get his car serviced before heading back to college. He was extremely easy to work with and answered all of our questions, no pressure to "fix" things unexpectedly - just honest recommendations. After having a poor experiences at a prior auto service location, I began a new search on a reliable automotive repair shop. Lund Motors came across my search, and after seeing their high ratings I figured “Why not?” I’m also kicking myself in the tail because they are only a few blocks from my house 🤦🏼♀️ I was due for an oil change, and mentioned a few things I was experiencing with my vehicle and they offered to take a peak. For once, I felt like I was heard and I was educated on questions that I had pertaining to current and future repairs! They quoted me significantly LESS

Visited here one day to check out services they offer for my vehicles and ended up scheduling an oil change. Jeff and his group are so incredibly friendly and honest with different quotes I requested for services, they even recommended another local business for something they felt would be better suited elsewhere as a second opinion. My check engine light came on a few times and they were able to tell me what was wrong with it and fixed it! They got me in pretty quickly and were very upfront about the cost and how long it would take. I will be taking my car here for repairs/maintenance from now on instead of the dealership! I contacted Lund Motors as they were highly recommended in a Mustang group in the Des Moines area. My 2006 GT still had the original shocks and struts and was in need of replacing. They also replaced the front brakes. I also had them install a strut tower brace when everything was buttoned back up. Handling is definitely improved and I can't wait for the summer cruising season. I'll definitely bring my Mustang back to Lund Motors when necessary.
