I went here as a first time patient and never went back. I was wearing a mask when we first met and before even asking how I was doing or why I was in to see him, he went on a long rant about how masks don't work and I don't need to wear it. It turned into him ranting about politics and politicians and corruption. I was sitting there at a loss for words. When he did get around to addressing my heath, he was cold and distant. He looked at his computer screen the entire time.

Dr. DeStephens is hands down the best physician in Gainesville. I moved here from Orlando, and I know that most Any other doctor would have just handed me pills and sent me on my way. He has incredible chiropractic knowledge and will give you real solutions to the root of the problem. Thank goodness I found him and was able to be seen the same day. He literally fixed my tension migraine that had been going for 4 days with his magic hands. 10/10 would highly recommend. He has great bedside manner and amazing knowledge. Dr.James DeStephens refuses to wear masks. That means if a patient passes on COVID19 to the good doctor, he could very easily pass it on to you and you to family, friends and those around you that you care about. If you don't believe in masks, and many Trumpsters don't, then this might be the guy for you. If you care about those in your family and want to be considerate of those around you then this good doctor is probably not for you.

There are things men just don’t want to deal with and believe me I suffered from low testosterone far too long before scheduling an appointment. To be honest it had been a problem for so long that I couldn’t remember what it felt like to feel good. Now that Dr. DeStephens has corrected the problem I realize how foolish I was to procrastinate.

Weight loss is something I’ve struggled with since my early teens. I’ve been treated by cardiologists for almost half of my life and underwent two cardiac caths followed by open heart surgery. After all of that, I still suffered from angina. Tucked away in the back of my mind was the fear that I would require more surgery or suffer a fatal heart attack.

He was telling me a story about how he helped a patient, he had mentioned ribs, I said I have a question, under my left rib, I have pain, and is swollen, and no one can figure it out. It’s been almost 20 years since I first drew Dr. Destephens a picture to thank him for saving my grandpa with ECP. Ten years later when my father starting exhibiting the same symptoms we knew exactly what was needed, ECP.
I recently got married and am very happy to say that I was able to dance with both my father and my grandfather at my wedding. I was very sick when I came to Dr. Destephen's office. However, in just 2 months, I am amazed at how my health has improved. I was treated with EECP for my heart. Dr. DeStephens is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable of osteo issues, hormones, and will keep you physically on the right track. I purchased a groupon deal for laser hair removal and that's about what it was worth. Unfriendly staff. Tries to rip you off by telling you to come every 2 weeks for treatments instead of the industry standard of 6 to 8 weeks between treatments. Had decent results during treatments but since I've stopped, most of the hair has grown back. Would not recommend this place to anyone I know.
