Gainesville Pediatric Associates
Our medical providers and staff are dedicated to providing the most current, compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care to our patients from birth to age 21. We seek to provide a medical home for all of our families with services that are professional, courteous and timely. We look forward to the opportunity to help your child grow from a healthy infant into a healthy adult.
Services
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends breastfeeding as the sole source of nutrition for your baby for the first 6 months of life. Once solid foods are added to your baby's diet, the AAP recommends continuation of breastfeeding until at least 12 months. Check with your child's doctor about vitamin D and iron supplements during the first year.
We believe that immunizations are a safe and effective way to protect children from preventable disease. We advise families to vaccinate their children according to the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Dr. Boon is an amazing doctor and even personally called me at 9:45pm to check on my daughter who was in the hospital. I couldn’t give any higher of a recommendation for her!

Dr. Boon, Dr. Grooms, and Nurse Pratt are exceptionally skilled and compassionate. They've seen our 2 children since birth and they always go above and beyond to make sure all of our concerns are addressed. I couldn't imagine taking them to anyone else. Highly recommend.

Just had a very bad experience with this office. I asked for a PE form for my son's sports, which he had done the exam a month ago. Don't understand why It has taken one week and 10+ calls and emails to get it. I actually have been with this office for many years and used to be happy. The physicians also changed a lot lately. Maybe this is time for us to leave.

My two kids see Dr. Grooms primarily, but we’ve also seen Tanya Banks several times and a few other providers on occasion. I have nothing but good things to say about all of them! We are always seen promptly and never feel rushed through appointments.

Today we had a scary reminder that our tough toddler is still kinda fragile, but the people here made everything right. They answered my call and put me right on with a nurse (usually they give me a call back but maybe they heard my panic), the nurse advised me to come in and they made time for us as soon as we could get there. Katie Pratt was our savior as she approached my son with expertise and compassion. She explained the issue, spoke to him gently, and fixed him quickly. (I wish every issue could be that easily resolved!) I was so grateful to be able to take him right away and for him to

I love Dr. Oum, but the nurses and staff regularly treated us and other families terribly. The staff are abrupt on the phone and embarrass families about payment in the lobby. Establishing my newborn's health insurance there was a nightmare; at a time when I'm sleep deprived and concerned about my baby's health their hounding was unnerving. When I called for assistance on the phone the nurses treated me like I was an idiot. We stayed for months because I liked our doctor- but it gave me JOY to find another practice.

We love Dr Beebe! He's been my son's pediatrician since he was born in 2005 and for 13 years he's guided us during all the ups and downs of "growing up"! His office is bright and clean and the staff and nurses are wonderful. Dr Beebe works with an amazing group of doctors and if there's ever an emergency and he's not available, there is always someone who can see your child.
The office is located on the fourth floor of the Women's Center and is easy to access with parking in the adjoining parking garage. The hospital pond next to the women's center

Love the doctors and nurses. I haven’t had great luck with the front office staff in the 17 years we’ve used them though. The majority of them tend to sound like they have better things to do or that the questions you ask are silly.

We love GPA! Whenever anyone is looking for a pediatrician we always suggest your office. Y'all are quick to get us in for sick visits, waits are never long, and having samples on hand of medicine or different products has been wonderful! I think that's what we were most surprised about. When our son had reflux and our Dr handed us some Enfamil AR Ready-mades to try out I was so thankful - as making another stop on the way home to High Springs was the last thing I wanted to do with a screaming uncomfortable baby. We were able to feed our little one right away and had a relatively peaceful ride

Every clinician in the practice is knowledgeable and compassionate. I appreciate the fact that I can always call and speak directly with a nurse with any questions I may have during regular working hours. Dr. Grooms has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to help us through some concerning health issues, and we are so grateful for her knowledge and expertise!

I have been taking my grandson to see Dr. Wyatt at Gainesville Pediatric Associates for several years. He always has time to talk to us and explain things, answer questions. I am completely pleased with his competency and manner. The office staff is always helpful and friendly, and we never have to wait very long. It's a good place.
