S&K Construction Company was born in 1949, under the partnership of Carl Schroeder and George Keller. During the early years, S&K was known as a premier mason contractor, specializing in the construction of large warehouses and manufacturing facilities. In 1972, S&K became incorporated in the state of New Jersey.
In 1976, Wayne Keller, the current owner and President of S&K, joined the company full-time and partnered up with his father George and brother Ken. About the same time, manufacturing companies started to relocate outside of New Jersey, forcing S&K to change its focus.
