Harvard Studio Photography + Video was established by photographer Steve Hockstein in Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey in 1993. Steve has shot award winning photographs and videography for clients in the corporate, medical and health care fields, higher education, news gathering agencies, newspapers, magazines and websites in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC, in addition to publications all over the nation and the world.

I worked with Steve on a professional headshot for LinkedIn, etc. and the overall experience was great. Steve was easy to work with, took numerous photos in different poses until we arrived at the right one, and was incredibly quick to provide the final retouched photo. Highly recommended!

It’s a pleasure working with Steve Hockstein. I successfully worked with him on a corporate project several years ago and immediately thought to reach out to him recently when I needed a photographer for a large party of friends and family.
The pictures Steve took for the corporate project were excellent and he was professional and easy to work with. The same was true when he came to photograph the recent event.

We had Steve take pics of our company picnic and I was BLOWN AWAY of how great the pics came. We received SO MANY pics and ALL OF THEM were beautiful!!! He really captured the vibe and fun that was had at the party. I did not attend the party, but I feel like I was there and knew everything that went on from start to finish because of his pictures. Lots of great action shots and also beautiful staged pics with the coworkers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Steve the photographer is very professional & knows his craft by all means. It is our 40th wedding anniversary but because of the pandemic Steve made our day memorable because of the photo shots he did which came out amazing & beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this studio. Reasonabe price with excellent outcome. Kate his assistant does her craft well too. Kudos to Steve. Thank you very much.

Steve, the owner was so welcoming, friendly, and very professional, please use this studio family ready, patient, and he really gets into his shoots will priority & class- Chelsea a teenager she felt so comfortable and free to work with Steve.
If anyone is looking for a great photographer I will recommend Harvard Studio, all COVID-19 safety are in place.
