Kirk has been in the roofing industry for almost 25 years and founded Scott Exteriors (based in Dallas, Texas) in 1997. After graduating with a BBA from Texas A&M University and becoming a CPA, Kirk worked as a Bank Auditor and Audit Supervisor before moving into the roofing industry. He started young as an entrepreneur, running his own landscape and irrigation business during high school and college.
Kirk is certified by several roofing, siding and window manufacturers on technical data and installations. He particularly enjoys the technical side of commercial re-roofing, as well as the challenges of new construction projects and learning how new products and services can help both his residential and commercial customers.

We had a leak based on some older, improperly-installed flashing that caused discoloration on our dining room ceiling. Justin Alexander with Scott Exteriors was responsive and professional, took time to describe the issue and possible solutions, gave me a reasonable quote, ensured the work was completely timely, and even connected me with a painter to repaint the dining room ceiling.

I received a two-part quote from Scott Exteriors to fix a leak on one of my rental properties. Option 1: just fix the leak. Option 2: Move the vent pipes and coordinate with an HVAC person to do a thorough job. Without contacting me, Scott Exteriors showed up on the property. My renters let them onto the roof. They did option 1 and just fixed the leak, even though the quote explicitly gave me the option to choose. Scott Exteriors never contacted me about which option to go with — and I didn’t even know that the job had been completed until I was emailed a reminder to pay the bill.

Justin Alexander and his team came out last week to fix my roof after a series of storms that passed through, recently. While I was worried that we may need to get a new roof, Justin assured me they would let me know if that was needed. I was relieved to know it just need a few minor repairs and we were good to go. The "fly by night" roofing operations are scams! Don't be fooled! Scott Exteriors will take good care of you!

Scott Exteriors came out and installed new windows and a new sliding door! They did an awesome job and couldn't be happier with the customer service and prompt job! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is needing new windows, roof or siding; granted I didn't need all of that but those options were available for us.
