Services
We are focused on providing the highest quality dental care in an environment that sets both the children and the parents at ease. Your comfort is our top priority, which is why we employ an open door policy where parents are welcome to accompany their child for the duration of every appointment. Each member of our staff is specially trained in pediatric care for children of all ages, including those with special needs.
Regular dental appointments are recommended every six months. This allows us to monitor emerging teeth, prevent the formation of cavities, and discuss how any dietary changes might impact your little one's dental health. As they grow and change over time, so does our approach and preventative measures we recommend to ensure your child's smile stays healthy.
Every new patient will be scheduled to receive an initial exam. During that appointment, Dr. Cheatham will assess your child's oral health, recommend any treatment, if needed, and answer any questions that you might have. If your child has received care from other dentists in the past, we ask that you call their office to get copies of your child's most recent x-rays to better inform our care for your child.
Dietary choices affect all aspects of our health, from our general health and well-being, energy levels and emotions, and, yes, even our oral health. While this is something we all should be aware of, it is especially important to monitor when it comes to your. One of the things we are passionate about is being able to give back to our community.
I would like to personally thank each of you for your trust and confidence in allowing me to provide your children with dental care. For over 39 years, I have been blessed with a profession that allows me to create and sustain relationships with amazing kids and parents. After considerable contemplation, I have decided it is time to phase out of active practice.

My two year old chipped most of his tooth off, I was recommended to this office and they got him in that day to look at it! He had to come back to get it pulled and the staff were all so wonderful, talked to him the whole time, and made him feel safe and loved! Even called to check on him later in the day to see how he was doing. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice and professional. Clean environment, staff was patient and informative.
*** six months later, (Aug 2020) even better than before! Can you imagine a child being afraid of the dentist? Now imagine a special needs child with sensory issues. The lady that took care of my oldest kiddo was beyond perfection. She was soft, gentle, nurturing and communicated with HIM the entire time. The lady that helped my 3 year old was a pro, that child left my side and didn't think twice about it,. He got his x-rays, and cleanings and came to show me his stickers. I'm amazed.

We have taken all three of our kids here since we moved to Oklahoma in 2011. Our littlest actually had a tooth injury at 18 mos and Dr. Don saw her immediately that same day. We have had one filling and that process couldn't have gone smoother. From stuffed animals to hold to the calmness of Dr. Don and his nurse, they made that process (which was scarier to mom) super easy & painless.
The office staff is always very kind and make things like X-Rays quick and effortless. They take the time to explain to our kids what they can work on and what they are doing well. Our kids do not fear the dentist

Our first visit was amazing! My daughter was very nervous coming in and that quickly dissolved. I am so proud of my little one for being brave and comfortable due to the kind nature of Dr. Cheatham & Miss Ashley. Love the motto 'If it's not broke, don't fix it'! Genuine, kind and trustworthy! Thank you for your genuine professionalism and kindness.
