Services
All of our therapists are doctors of physical therapy, and have extensive experience in the field. Dr. Jordan Istrin, DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) received his bachelor's in History from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He then came home to Los Angeles where he followed his passion for helping people and completed his doctorate of Physical Therapy from California State University- Northridge.
In order to achieve your rehabilitation goals, we use a variety of Procedures (therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, joint mobilization, soft tissue massage and therapeutic massage), Modalities (heat and cold applications, ultra-sound, cold laser treatment, electrical stimulation, T.E.N.S., traction), and home exercise programs.

Unfortunately I've had a lot of physical problems over the last 10 years, so I've seen my share of physical therapy facilities. EM Therapeutics is BY FAR the best facility I've ever used for treatments. I've had to use EM to three different times over the past five years for different ailments, and EVERY TIME they've either healed or greatly improved my condition. Great doctors and therapists, clean facilities (I've used their Beverly Hills and Encino offices), and they're one of the FEW physical therapy centers that gives you ultra-sound and massage therapy

I can't say enough about the efficiency of this locations staff. Starting with Ingrid in front office who is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and then there is Yelena who was so thorough and professional.
If you have a choice, make this location your primary choice. It is extremely clean and most of all you'll experience spa-like quietness.

Yelena has consistently provided excellent and professional physical therapy care for my neck, arm and balance issues. To supplement her work in the office, she worked up a detailed exercise program for me to perform at home. She saved me getting an unnecessary surgery by encouraging me to get a second opinion. I am making progress, thank you Yelena!

My husband had Shoulder surgery in June 2020. Shoulder surgery is definitely not a quick recovery . However, with the excellent professional care that EM Therapeutics has given him weekly with Yelena PT ; I'm happy to report that he has come a very long way! Yelena has provided him with specific exercises that have helped with his mobility along with massage treatments etc which has made a huge impact thus far for him personally and professionally. Yelena has encouraged him to do exercises at home as well and this too has given him a daily routine towards reaching his post surgical recovery

Luis and Liz are one of the most amazing people i have ever met. They are so nice and the hospitality is amazing. Any questions you have they will answer if you want to chat with them you'll be surprised to see that they have a lot in common with you then you think. They have greeted me with happiness and that's all I need because with one giving you a positive energy you can give them back the same thing. The service is as fast as they can make for you but the only time it is time consuming is when you get there for the first time. Even then they helped me out very quickly. The facility

Luis saved my neck! I got rear ended and spent a few months not being able to turn or tilt my head. My doctor finally prescribed physical therapy and recommended EM Therapeutics. It was super easy to make an appointment and they agreed to see me on a lien as I also have a lawsuit attached to this accident.
I had 12 sessions with Luis and he got my neck moving without pain. I'm a very active person and my neck pain was a huge hindrance to my daily life.
Everyone I met was incredibly professional and kind. I really enjoyed my experience, and although I hope I never need their services again

Luv my therapist Luis who always has me leaving with a new back and neck. Liz is on the ball with scheduling so I don't miss an appt n she's quite accommodating. This office is friendly, professional, and overseen by a lovely doctor. I was used to Cedars n EM therapeutics doesn't make me miss the drive into the city.

The gentleman who answered the telephone was mostly interested in inquiring about my insurance benefits which he told me needed to be verified by someone before I could make an appointment. My initial consultation at E M Therapeutics was with Carmen, who asked some questions but didn't physically examine me. She gave me some exercises to do and told me I would be having traction on my next appointment. When I checked, I discovered that Carmen is in fact an assistant and I requested to see a qualified therapist on my next visit. I got told they only have one, who is the owner Eli Marmur, and he is never there until 4 pm. So they open at 8 am but there are no physiotherapists there all day? I made an appointment for the following week.

I live in Culver city. My dr or the appointment person told me I had an appointment at this place today. I get there, and the girl is like I dont know what u r talking about. She called my office and he says the guy cancelled and was supposed to call me Thursday. This is in Encino. I didnt want to drive here for nothing. I ask the woman there working to validate my parking. She was like No. I said in a very soft voice Why? She said I will do it for you. I am still mad.
