Sterling Septic is a small and locally owned family business located in the city of Puyallup. After being in the septic industry for seven years, we decided to venture out on our own with a dream of running a small company that would provide for our family and allow us to spend quality time with our daughter.
We ran as a one man crew for about a year and slowly grew our amazing team as well as adding to our family with our son. Today we have a team of eleven! We never imagined we would grow our team to where it is today. More than half of our team members who started with us are family, close friends or have become close to us.

We offer a variety of professional septic services such as septic pumping, septic tank repairs, drain field repairs and more. We are able to evaluate how often pumping or maintenance is needed for your system specifically based on your type of system, the size of your tank and how many people live in your home. Not only does your septic system contain sewage. Your water from taking showers, washing dishes and doing laundry drains into your septic tank.
Depending on what county you are located in the health department requires certain steps in order to close your home. We are experts on the home sale process and can work with your realtor to make sure our home closes on time. Your system must be pumped out and inspected in order to close on your home.
Our technicians are trained and certified experts in the septic field. We know how to troubleshoot and properly diagnose your system in order to make the correct repairs needed. Tank Repairs - If there is a crack in your system on the tank floor or wall we are able to pump out the system and then do a confined space entry.

Damon and his company are simply the best in the business! Extremely hard working and reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They discovered that our newly purchased home had a second septic tank that nobody knew existed, fixed it and got it back in perfect shape! Also fixed the other septic system so we have room to remodel without limitations. Truly a treasure!

The last week of October, 2021, the technicians Aaron and Skyler responded to our call for a leak at our outside drainage mount. They were on time to our appointment and they were clean and professional. They were very personable and shared their knowledge of our system , that was very informative. Our experience with Sterling Septic went very well and relieved our worry of ending up with an expensive repair bill, which we did not. We will not hesitate to use them again if ever needed.

These guys are great. Seriously fantastic - you absolutely have to go here for your septic services. My wife and I are new to owning a septic system and made a ton of newbie errors, Skyler and Hunter came over the same day we requested help from Sterling, and they sorted us all out. These two are super knowledgeable, professional and provided a TON of knowledge and helped us troubleshoot the issue. Great senses of humor as well!

Had our tank pumped by Damon and Aaron on a day when we had several inches of snow on the ground and all the roads were a sheet of ice. They showed up to work and on time on a day when most other businesses had to close. They worked fast and were very nice and professional and had to work on my patio that was crowded with all my junk. The thing i appreciate the most though is that right away they recognized we were having a backup issue and showed me where the filter to my drain field was and how to pull it out so i could clean it, which was certainly the reason for our backed up system.
