Services
Wilson Care Group comprises two long-term care organizations: Wilson Homecare and Wilson Senior Living in Kailua. Wilson Homecare is a state-licensed, private-duty home health care agency, and Wilson Senior Living in Kailua is a state-licensed, adult residential care home, type II. We proudly serve the island community of Oahu, Hawaii.
Wilson Care employs a team of home health care providers in Honolulu who are passionate about helping their patients. We offer a range of services in our homecare program to clients of all ages, from youth to seniors, so that you or your loved one can receive the care that is required and feel comfortable with the person who is helping.
Choosing elderly care for your loved one can not be approached as a one-size-fits-all solution. Simply put, choosing the right care is dependent on what your elderly loved one's needs. When in-home care is no longer appropriate, come see Wilson Senior Living, our state-licensed Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH II), located in the Aikahi neighborhood of Kailua at 96 Kaneohe Bay Drive.
Shelley Wilson was introduced to the concept of in-home health care at the tender age of 18, when, less than two years into her career as an Army medic, she suffered life-threatening injuries due to a tragic automobile accident. During her arduous three-year recovery, she had many occasions to consider how beneficial it would be - for herself and for her family - to have the help and support of professional home care services.
Wilson Homecare is located on the island of Oahu and offers home health care services island-wide. We provide nurse aide and skilled nursing services to those who wish to remain in the comfort of their own home. All of our employees - from aides to skilled nurses to administrators - are dedicated, compassionate, and treat our clients like family.

Pros: I've worked for Wilson Home Care group a little while ago and i have to admit the best part of being apart of wilson would be the client's. You somehow become a part of your patients daily lives and becoming somewhat part of their family. I enjoyed being able to spend time with my clients and getting to know each and every person.
But the challenging part would be having so many days of work. And not many to sleep. Or your on call constantly. Other than that and gas is say it's a really nice place to work. It challenges you as an individual because each client is different and their needs

BEWARE! Had phone consult with Miriam Zakimi on Dec 16, 2019 to discuss in-home consult. We confirmed an appointment date. I flew to Hawaii to meet with the nurse/nurse-aide and our person was a no-show. After speaking with Miriam a few minutes past our appointment time, she told me there was a mix up and our nurse/nurse aide had an emergency come up. I understand things come up, but it's up to Wilson to communicate this to their clients/potential clients. Very bad first impression and we will NOT be using their services.

After reading some negative reviews - I suppose YMMV. However our experience has been pleasant so far. We've have been with Wilson for about a year. We have the aide come by only once a week to visit my mom - so we are at the minimum level of care visits. Because of this we had a lot of different aides rotate in and out in the beginning. However, recently we got one that has been steady for awhile and seems to be working out very well. As with any people contact business, you really have to find the right 'fit' of personalities. In our case it's going well so far (of course until we get some one

Our Mom has been well cared for by Wilson Homecare for 10 years. She initiated the service herself when she was capable but could no longer drive. Over the years her children have become her intermediaries with Wilson and we have had desirable results. Mom has had 3 regular caregivers and all have been professional and great companions for Mom. Each has had the ability to be a friend to her and maintain the professional standards needed, which is exceptional. We have also needed fill-in help over the years and the schedulers at Wilson have most often been able to place a compatible caregiver. Wilson
