I've always had a deep passion for organizing and event planning, and I believe that every special event deserves to be pretty, beautifully executed and fun! Originally a Midwest girl, I made my way from Ann Arbor Michigan to the Napa Valley in 2006 and never looked back. I am a mother to a sweet and loving 10-year-old daughter, Lucia who loves to swim, dance, and draw.
Our Partial Planning Collection is an ideal option for the couple who may have already completed portions of their planning and require less assistance than our Signature Collection. You are the couple who desires to plan their own wedding day but would like ongoing access to a professional for vendor referrals and detailed assistance with all elements related to design and decor along with day-of coordination.

I highly recommend Maria from “By Your Side Events” as your wedding coordinator! Maria was truly professional and a delight to work with. As a fellow business owner in the industry I was able to communicate with her through email and she responded in a timely matter. I truly appreciate her partnership on crafting the perfect micro wedding for our client. She even went above and beyond by flying from CA-NYC two weeks in advance to quarantine before the big day!! I have much respect for a fellow businesswoman who diligently follows CDC standards and has true compassion for the safety and wellness

Was almost always significantly late to meetings, including our rehearsal. Made errors on the timeline that led to some mistakes at our event. We often felt deprioritized and forgotten about, and it was heartbreaking because we had so much trust and confidence in her in the beginning and spent so much money hiring her. We also really liked her on a personal level, so unfortunately we tried to rationalize away a lot of our disappointments. However, our friends and family were shocked that a wedding planner would be so late to something so important, and we just couldn’t make that feel ok. I do

Life saver!!! We thought we could plan our wedding on our own until we quickly realized there was no way we actually could. Maria stepped in and immediately took over and calmed all of our worries. She was prompt, friendly and pretty much all knowing. She and her team were AMAZING on the day of our wedding and we couldn’t have done it without her support. If you are planning a wedding, hire her now!!

Maria is awesome! Took all the stress away from planning a wedding and went above and beyond by keeping me within budget, but what I loved the most was that she really takes the time to listen. I was having a difficult time putting together my ceremony layout but Maria quickly jumped in to assist. She remembered I mentioned some of my favorite love quotes from our very first conversation of wedding planning and helped me personalize my entire wedding script. I am truly in love with her work! From this point forward I can not see myself doing business with anyone else for any family event.
