Murphy & Sons Funeral Home takes pride in being Family-Owned & Operated. Our commitment is to serve each family as our own. The Murphy's have been serving families at their time of need for over four decades. Edward Murphy Sr. was a Funeral Director for over 30 years, serving & helping families of all Faith's throughout Southern California.
Our General Price List is available upon request. The survivor of the deceased who is handling the funeral arrangements, or the responsible party, is entitled to receive, prior to the drafting of any contract, a copy of any agreement that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the deceased, and that is in the possession of the funeral establishment.

Burial benefits available to California Veterans include a gravesite in either California's nine national cemetery or in one of our seven state cemeteries. Burial benefits in California include opening and closing of the grave, perpetual care, a government headstone or marker, a burial flag, and a Presidential Memorial Certificate, at no cost to the family.

DON’T GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I met with Jonathon Murphy early in November after the sudden passing of a family member. He was able to meet with me the same day and hash out all of our arrangements quickly. He was available to answer any and all of my questions like he was my brother. I know that this is a very difficult time for people, but I can’t tell you how much I appreciated his honesty and caring personality. The service was top notch, flowers were amazing… it was just such a special day and having someone so calm and understanding let me and my family relax and and truly enjoy this difficult

Like all of the previous 5 star reviews, we absolutely recommend Murphy and Son's, also. After our friend's untimely death, we started with pricing from the cemetery's funeral home option. Murphy and Son's was 1/2 the price with the same amenities. Jonathan answered my many questions professionally, usually calling back within minutes. The day of the funeral, at the church and graveside, he and their staff were attentive, calm, thoughtful and ready to attend whatever needs we had. Their approach to our time of need was impeccable. We could not recommend them more highly.

My father passed away unexpectedly, but planning the viewing and funeral services with them was so smooth. Murphy & Sons helped me make arrangements for my Father when he passed. Although it was a difficult time, Jonathan and Edward made it a little bit easier. They were very attentive and helpful and they didn't hesitate to assist my family. Their prices for burials are also more economical from what I've seen from similar funeral homes and they really do go above and beyond with their service. What I really liked was the ability to contact Jonathan via text at any time of the day even after they were closed if I had any questions. I had a wonderful experience with Murphy & Sons, and I highly recommend them.
My father passed away unexpectedly, and we had no arrangements. They literally took the stress off of us, walked us through the entire process, and treated my family with the utmost respect and dignity. I am very impressed with the service I received with Murphy & Sons Funeral Home. From the very first phone call I made, I was greeted by the sweet, kind voice of Jonathan. I had already dealt with the hospital staff and was used to their coldness. I was surprised when he referred to my dad by his name and not as a body. He took initiative right way and guided me through the process with such compassion. He was available all day to answer my questions. He was very quick to respond, and follow up.
