I would give Hippo more stars if possible. We purchased a metal roof and new rain gutters from Hippo a few weeks ago and are so happy with the work. From sales to install everyone was a pleasure to deal with. The install crew worked through the weekend to install our roof and went about and beyond our expectations. The gentleman that did our gutter install went above and beyond our expectations as well. The price was a bit of a shock but after all the work was completed we have a beautiful new roof that is worth every penny. So happy we went with Hippo.

I called Hippo for a quote and the response time was very fast and very professional.
Tony came out an explained our options and guided us through the process. He was always in contact with us with any updates every step of the way.
Their installation crew was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous and made certain that the work area was cleaned often during the day. Roof debris was kept to a minimum and at the completion of the job the area was cleared of any leftover material. The new metal roof looks fantastic.

From the first call to William Scott coming to do my inspection and going over all my options as well as pricing! On top of that William then took the time to help me with financing, his customer service was above and beyond what I expected! He told me it would take about 6 to 8 weeks for the metal to come in and them to do the installation of the new roof! William then told me that Tony would be handling the rest of my roofing needs and that he would be in touch, Tony kept me informed from the day they ordered the metal until the day they did the installation! Tony then came back the day after

Thank you very much for the new roof! I love it! It looks great!!!!! We are so happy....very relieved since we are in hurricane season...can sleep peacefully now knowing we are safe! Everyone at Hippo Roofing was great! Communicated well, on time, super friendly, crew were amazing and knowledgeable! Do not use hippo roofing for gutter works. i hsve gien up in trying to get hippo to correct poor workmanship qualitymin the replacemnt of gutters /downspouts at my house. please see link below. dg,,,,,,

Hippo roofing is a SHAM start to finish. My husband and I knew there were damaged boards, flashing and fascia that needed to be replaced based on our home inspection when we bought the property in February. We contacted 4 different roofing companies for estimates. The salesman from Hippo came out and sold us on their Guardian roof because it included unlimited boards and extra fascia board as well as a warranty. We were very clear that we wanted the “rotten” boards and fascia replaced, my husband estimated it would be at least 11 or 12 boards. We were assured that it would be taken care of

I'm not writing for myself, but my dad's experience (hence the 4 out of 5 stars). About four years ago, my dad made the decision that "it was time" for him to sell the house right about when his original roof had hit the 26 year mark. He'd hired someone (a "handyman" of sorts) to come out and patch up some damage from previous storms, and... yeah.
Anyway, he'd reached out to a few local/independently owned roofing companies and decided on Hippo. They got him repaired/redone within a matter of days (asphalt roof), and he's been happy with them ever

My Mother-in-law needed a new roof so I called three different roofing companies to get estimates. Ben, from Hippo, came out to do an estimate and he was very professional and not pushy at all. I decided to go with them (for a metal roof) and Ben even agreed to come out the next day and apply a temporary patch in an area that leaked. The patch worked great and we proceeded to wait for the installation (8-10 weeks). In the meantime, Irma made her visit. That introduced a slight delay as Hippo had to repair damages to roofs around town (understandable).

Took 2 months for a project that we were promised would only take 3 1/2 weeks. We had Tyvek as our roof for a whole month. Our home insurance lapsed and they would not give us any kind of discount. We tried to withhold payment for the time that we waited, but they told us that the workers would not get paid.
We had to call to see why no one was working on the roof. No one ever called us to tell us anything.
Although they said everything was made in FL, they blamed the hold-up on the fact that corporate headquarters for the roofing supplies was located in NC.
