Unbelievable flavors. Pinch more saffron in my dish would have been nice. But man is this place yummy. Staff very very nice but a little distracted. Flan was the only thing I didn't like. It was firm and tasty but I like mine soft with a little Carmel sauce. Would have given them 4.5 but no candle for my birthday. Hmmmmmm I wonder if someone forgot. Go there make a reservation and enjoy some amazing food.

Really flavorful unique cuisine. I tried several a appetizers and entrees all were so flavorful and well prepared. My favorites were the nachos, empanadas, pasta, and encheladas. Even the side salad served with the meal was a punch of flavor. They serve each table complimentary toasted bread and an herb spread. It was super delicious. Try this place if you want to try some new and exciting flavors.

Awesome little spot! My family and I are in town for the Cubs series, we are staying above the Kegel Inn. Didn't realize it was closed on Sundays & Mondays. We took a walk in the neighborhood and found this place. Friendly service and great food. We are a family of 6 (4 kids) and we tried all different stuff off the menu. Between all of us we had mole poblano, veggie empanadas, pork sliders, cheese quesadillas, and soups (Crema de Elote & Chicken soup). Everything tasted great! Definitely coming back next we are in town.

Antigua has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years. The food and service are great. Pre-Covid, we dined at Antigua several times a year. We just went yesterday for the first time in over a year. The food and service continue to be great. Our only disappointment was when we received the bill and we noticed an unexpected charge to our drinks. We ordered the house mango and guava margaritas listed for $7. When we received the bill there was a $1 charge for the extra flavoring. We asked the waitress and she talked to the manager and the extra charge was removed. It may seem trivial, but

The food was amazing and the staff was friendly.
The menu was good and very concise.
I ordered a Black Raspberry Sangría and my meal was the Churrasco Argentino. It came with potatoes w/ cheese on the side along with a chimichurri sauce. It also came with a salad and this delicious free appetizer of toasted bread and green garlic aioli.
The steak was absolutely perfect. I ordered it medium rare.

Eight years since my last update? Well, you can tell from my posted photos that I've continued to dine there or order from there since 2012, and the fact that I am writing this update means they are still in business, which is a testament to the quality that Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen provides their customers.
Over the years, I've worked my way through, nearly, their entire menu. The Cochinita Pibil (their Yucatan style braised pulled pork) and Paella Valenciana are my favorite entrees, and their empanadas and guacamole are my favorite appetizers, but I've thoroughly enjoyed

Patio for the Pandemic win! Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen has put up a new small patio, to accomodate outdoor dining. Service was excellent, the food was top notch, and we really enjoyed our visit!
- I had a Grapefruit Margarita- don't skip out on the mixed drinks here
- Sun Dried Tomato and Pepita Guacamole was outstanding!
- Cochinita Pibil was a nice orange color, slightly salty, great dish
- Enchiladas Yucatecas was an incredible complex play on yellow peppers and Habanero sauce was amazing
There's a Date Night Special on Wednesday, and many Family Dinners that would be great

Great food! Love the empanadas so, so much. I would recommend eating them with green sauce (the sauce that comes with the complimentary bread). I will definitely come try the other seafood dishes later. My pasta dish was OK...just not really a flavor that I liked. But overall service was good. Pricing is decent...a little on the expensive side but the empanadas are worth it.

This is an excellent restaurant. Staff was great and accommodating. Started with some toasted bread and cilantro-cream spread, which was great. We had a pitcher of blackberry infused Spanish Sangria, which was like being back in Spain, so good. Then the seafood paella...practically nothing to complain about! So good, fresh, not fishy-tasting in the least, no spices overpowering one another; it was delicious. There was so much if the paella I could only get through half of it (coming from a guy who can kill a full slab of ribs and a half pound of brisket in one sitting, that's saying something)

Just wanted to give another shout out to Antigua and severs Manuel, who is incredibly gracious, friendly and will remember your name even when one hasn't dined there for a while. And high praise for Nancy. When dining there recently in a group of 4, three in our party had various food restrictions ranging from an anaphylactic nut allergy-vegetarian-no cheese preference, and another nut allergy.
Nancy was professional and very accommodating, helpful, and made the diners confident the food would be prepared correctly. Strong work! Thanks for being one of the best in West Allis!!

What a beautiful restaurant! The food was authentic, tasty and perfectly spicy, the service was attentive, kind and helpful, and the overall experience couldn’t have been better.
I met the owner, who is a really cool guy and went to every length to make sure we were happy and well-accommodated. The restaurant was comfortable and spacious, and we were comfortable throughout the evening.
The highlight was the flan we ordered for dessert, which was exquisite. It was just the right consistency. Its caramelization reached just the right balance of toasty sweetness, and I’m still thinking about

We went for their Spanish Sundays Specials and were not disappointed! The Valencia paella was delicious and so was the sangria pitcher (both Sunday Specials). The house appetizer of crostini and alioli was also wonderful. We had great service and the atmosphere is lovely. Don't miss out on this authentic Latin inspired kitchen, you will be glad you stopped in!

I have never had a sangria that was so deliciously smooth and not overpowering in the booze department. The Ropa Vieja was amazing! Yes, I picked out the onions and tomatoes, but the beef (the star of the dish, anyway!) was like butter....so smooth and melty. Cilantro rice, black beans, and plantains are a winner in my book, any day!
Service was a little slow, but I was with a large group, so that is to be expected.
I had been wanting to come here for quite a while, and I was not disappointed. I hope to return soon....so much of their menu intrigues me!

Great food, awesome staff, and lovely views. Book a reservation during busy times, like the weekends. I will be trying bottomless mimosas next time through. I go to Antigua about once a month.
Edit: still love the food, especially the recent menu change. However, I docked two stars since the last review because of the little to no alcohol in the Margarita. I bought a Mezcal Margarita and liked it so much I bought a pitcher. I drank it all by myself (whoops) because my date didn't want any. Anyways, that means I drank 6 margaritas and did not feel any sort of buzz. How do you charge $40 for a Margarita
