Bridge Counseling & Bereavement Center is a private counseling center offering supportive counseling & psychotherapy to individuals and families who have recently lost significant support systems in their life.

Whether through death of a spouse, child, parent, or loved one, military duty, divorce, separation from family, grown children, or aging parents; Bridge Counseling Center provides warm, caring, supportive counseling by an experienced, compassionate therapist, knowledgeable in the area of grief & loss and re-adjustment to significant life changes and transitions.
Services
All therapy at Bridge Counseling Center is provided by an experienced psychotherapist with education, knowledge, and training in the area of human development, attachment, trauma, family systems, and grief & loss. The style and orientation of therapy is humanistic and cognitive, focused on the process of emotional & cognitive rebalancing through difficult life transitions, and recovery from depression that often accompanies loss.
Lisa Frances Raia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26 years of experience working in the mental health field. She began working as a mental health counselor in 1986 before she received her Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 1992.

She completed her internship experience and clinical training at Sagamore Children's Psychiatric Center and Southeast Nassau Guidance Center, and received additional clinical training and experience in psychiatric diagnosis, assessment and psychotherapy for individuals and families in crisis at Catholic Charities Mental Health Clinic.
