Pet Dental Care is Important! Pet dental care is as important to your dog or cat as it is to our human family members. Crossroads Veterinary Hospital provides comprehensive pet dental care through regular exams, cat and dog teeth cleaning, and helping pet owners to create a manageable home dental care program.
Services
Crossroads Veterinary Hospital is in the community of Diamond Springs, California, which is adjacent to the city of Placerville, the central hub of El Dorado County. Our friendly staff will greet you as you enter our hospital. Our doctor's and staff will treat your pet's as they treat their own pet's.
I enjoy people AND pets and believe I have the best position in the hospital as I interact with both; welcoming clients and patients as a receptionist since 2015. My husband, Bob (yes, together we are BobKat!) and I have two grown, married children and we enjoy being grand'paw'rents to their four-legged babies.
Your pet just doesn't seem like himself today. What should you do? Call us. Our caring staff will help you decide if your pet's symptoms warrant a visit with one of our doctors. Many times, sooner is better than later where early intervention can lead to a faster recovery. One of the easiest ways to insure a long, healthy life for your pet is through regular wellness exams.
At Crossroads Veterinary Hospital, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

We took Cooper to Crossroads vet clinic and they found a peach pit in his stomach. When they pulled it out they said it looks like it has been in there for a while. Weβll just tonight he was playing!! And if you knew this dog before his surgery you would say heβs just an old grumpy dog. But now he acts his age (heβs 7). Wants to run more play more and he smiles all the time now. Thank you so much crossroads vet clinic. Be ready to see him again for his teeth and his sisters teeth as well.

I like this place but the service is very slow. I had called in an medication order a few hours ago and went to pick it up. Waited 20 mins and it wasent even filled yet. Besides being slow the staff was nice. They don't wair masks in there incase anyone is wondering. I didn't see anyone wairing them. There is a sign saying it's required but no one is wairing them.

Our almost 15 year old Bichon had to be put down today. We are new to the area and Crossroads Vet was popular on our Next door app. Marissa was so nice and caring with me when I called this morning. She got us in at 4:00 PM. Kaitlyn the vet tech should have been the vet. She connected with our dying dog in a way I can't explain. Kaitlyn was so in touch with our high emotions and our dear old dog. This was one of the hardest days of our lives but Kaitlyn made it feel more comfortable especially for our dear Marilyn. Bless her dear soul. I can't say enough about Kaitlyn's beautiful soul.
