Was told it would be 45 minutes until they could get my truck in for an oil change. I went and walked around U of D for 2 1/2 hours to kill time. Came back, truck had been moved from where I parked it, figured it was all set. Went inside to find out they hadn’t gotten to it yet.
2 things: 1. I get that the 45 minutes was a guesstimate...but… should have called me to let me know they were running that far behind, and that the 45 minutes had turned into 2.5 hours. 2. If they hadn’t had a chance to get to my truck yet...who drove it and why?

I've been coming to their Dover shop for about 3 years and I've been very happy with the service I've received. I go to these guys for every oil change (when I went in yesterday and was about to show the coupon, Al was just like "Oh I already applied it. I saw your history") and last summer went to them when I needed tires.
Even on a Saturday morning, I was able to get an oil change and a complete tire replacement done within about 2 hours! They even told me about the rebate that the manufacturer was doing and had much lower prices (on name brand tires) than Pep Boys and AAA.

So... I likely won't be coming back here. First when I arrived this morning I was completely ignored despite being the only customer there. Not even a "hi please give me a moment." When I tried to get help I was met with attitude. There were two people at the desk completely ignoring my existence. I probably should have just left then and taken my car elsewhere. Then, when I picked my car up one of the hubcap emblems was missing. I just assumed that they forgot to put it back on. They said that my car came in with only 3 emblems, which I knew to be false given that I checked my car

Had to wait over an hour for oil change and rotation after I was told no wait when I came in. I buy my tires here and take advantage of the free rotation.
There was no wait I was told. After an hour and two customers that came in after me out the door, I saw my car had not moved. They forgot about me, so much for no waiting. When I asked, they said someone had the paperwork. 20 minutes later, they had not done the car. The advisor was unaware my car had sat over an hour. They were unapologetic and did nothing to make me want to come back. Not even a sorry or few bucks off the oil change

Not really sure why people are rating this place so high because I did not have a good experience here. Came in with tire problems which they got inspected and found out there was a screw in one of my tires. They said they couldn't fix that and that I had to purchase new tires. I just saw somebody's review on which they had this issue fixed. Not sure why they couldn't fix it for me. On top of that their technician broke my car key chain. Never coming here again!

I’m a frequent customer. Dropped my car off this morning. Never called to say car was ready. When called to follow up on alignment the girl stated they needed us to provide factory specs on lift?! I’m sorry isn’t this your job! Then proceeded to say they wouldn’t have time to do the job today and they wouldn’t be able to do it tomorrow either due to only having 1 technician working! Beyond frustrated! 😡Would not recommend this business. No customer service and extremely unreliable!

I don’t normally do ratings but I absolutely have to for them. I was originally going to go to Pep Boys to get four new tires put on today. I called them this morning regarding an appointment and I never received a cal back. I called Delaware Tire Center in Dover and they quoted me a hella better price then Pep Boys. After arriving and asking if there is a catch (anything that sounds too good to be true usually is), the guy looked right at me and told me they had quoted me the wrong price. I felt defeated until he said that the tires had a $50 rebate!!! A co-worker recommended them and now I’m

Wanted to leave a 5 star review here. Went yesterday as I thought I had nail in tire, they took my car in quickly and professionally and after seeing that it was a small screw and didn’t pierce my tire they didn’t even charge me. I thought I had a problem with a tire that showed I needed air and I had run over something in the road as well. I was serviced very fast and was told no charge there is no repair needed just air .

I had a recent very positive experience from Delaware Tire Center. I was traveling down to Delaware to visit my family over Christmas when I ran over construction staples in both right side tires early on Christmas eve. When I called Delaware Tire they informed me that they were closing early and could not help me that day, were very apologetic, and said that they could help me first thing Wednesday morning when they re-opened.
I brought my car to them when they opened and told me that only the rear tire had been punctured and that the front tire was not losing air. I was prepared to purchase

I went in to have my tires installed at Delware Tire Center. The technician tried to disable my dash cam and messed it up. They never informed me that they even touched my camera. I contacted the owner/manager (Jay Baxter) and he said that it wasn't their problem. The last video recorded on the camera shows otherwise, but they just don't care.

I spend hundreds of dollars on tires for performance cars. I had a 2007 BMW 335i and replaced all four tires at Delaware Tire because it was convenient. It was $165 a tire. I had to wait 3 hours. I kept asking what was taking so long. I was told my rims were bent and one was broken. They couldn't fix the problem, so I packed up the tires and went to Sports Tire Car in Wilmington. They straightened my 3 rims an repacked the broken rim in an hour. Six months later one tire I bought from Delaware Tire was split open. I took it in to Delaware Tire and suggested it was a
