Grant-Holladay Construction Group is founded by Wallace F. Holladay (Wally) and Norbert Grant. Holladay's first Midwest apartment complex is developed; West Jefferson Apartments in Mishawaka, IN. With Holladay's Washington, D.C. office expanding, Wally decides to hire a Midwest manager. Development of 400 units at Maple Lane - South Bend and 568 units at Portage Place Apartments is completed.
