Services
Andrew has been providing physical therapy to the San Diego area for almost 20 years. Before moving here, he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Master of Science in Physical Therapy degrees from Boston University. Over the course of his career he has completed numerous continuing education courses to enhance his clinical skills and provide the most up to date treatment techniques available.
QLife Physical Therapy uses advanced manual therapy and exercise techniques to help you reach your goals. No ineffective, trendy machines are used here. It's just you and your physical therapist working together to solve your problem. Manual Therapy techniques have proven to be critical to the success of any rehabilitation treatment.
Today's health care system is very reactive- full of wasted time, money, and often with mediocre results. Too often, by the time you finally get to rehabilitation, it is almost too late to make a quick recovery. I know, I'm a physical therapist. It can take so long, and it might take you or your family away from what you love to do.
It is very important that we obtain your full medical history and a thorough understanding of how your symptoms or limitations are affecting your life. A fair amount of time will be spent listening to how you have addressed or managed your condition already. From there we can we figure out how we are going to change things for the better.
The simple answer is pain. If you are experiencing pain that is limiting your enjoyment of life or performance in your sport, you need to see a physical therapist first. QLife provides instruction from injury to returning to a high level of capability, all under the consistent guidance of one person.

I’ve been both a colleague and patient of Andrew’s for 17 years now. One of the best in the business. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable in his practice. He has helped me get through my chronic back pain issues on several occasions, and I feel very confident referring my clients to him for their pain management, physical therapy and rehab needs.

I have been seeing Andrew Doell for PT for several years. I have had chronic musculoskeletal pain for about 35 years after an injury. Andrew’s knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal function are the highest I have ever seen. His approach to rebalancing the body and strengthening weak areas is superb. His home programs reinforce what we do in the office. I wish I had met Andrew years ago. If I was still in practice I would send all my patients to him. I recommend Andrew without reservation.

I observed over several months how Andrew Doell interacts with clients while he worked with a friend of mine. I had a chance to see how he works one-on-one for a full hour, quietly, purposefully, and encouragingly. Because I saw the progress being made by my friend, I asked him if he'd be willing to work with me on balance issues. Now that I've had several sessions working with Andrew, I am even more impressed and am looking forward to continuing to improve my balance, coordination, and strength.
He listens to you to get a perspective on how you see your issues, but better than that, Andrew observes

Andrew Doell is very knowledgeable and well skilled in his clinical and practical. I’ve been seeing him for more than 5 years now and have experienced so much of an improvement with my issues.
I have lower back and neck disk issues which creates numbness and tinglings on my both legs and sciatic pain issues. I had this symptoms ever since when my back pain started, every morning was a nightmare waking up with a sharp pain on my back and numb on feet but it got so much better now when I started working with him. I had to take the pills(pain killer) under the doctor’s prescription on daily basis

I have been using Andrew as a physical therapist for many years and he always makes sure that I receive the training I need to keep my body healthy for the long term. He makes me work hard and pushes me to my limits which is something that is very beneficial to my training. Andrew creates a positive workout experience which makes me want to continue to workout. Andrew is an awesome physical therapist!!
