Each of the Wilmington Preschool of the Arts teachers and staff bring elements of excellence to the WPA team. Staff education includes; Masters in Education, child development and family studies, North Carolina Early Childhood Credentials, North Carolina School of the Arts, communication studies, psychology, music, foreign languages and decades of early childhood education experience.
Every WPA teacher is CPR and First Aid certified. We also complete yearly furthering education classes with Smart Start of New Hanover County as well as attend the National Association for the Education of Young Children Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina each year.

Services
Our 2 boys have been attending WPA since they were both around 2, now with our oldest 5 and in the Pre-K class we've been a part of all 4 classrooms. We've loved our experience here! It's a truly warm, welcoming and nurturing environment. Our boys LOVE it here and look forward to school days! Being a smaller school the teachers know all the students/parents and we've also made friends among the parent community.
The BEST pre-K of all! My son is 4 and goes in every day with big smile on. He cannot wait for the weekend to be over to meet again with his friends and teachers! The curriculum is extremely rich in learning content, as well as leaves lots of room for fun. Kids are learning while they are playing. Teachers are very patient, giving and extremely attentive.
