Our Infant, Toddler, and Pre-Kindergarten Programs are designed by our to meet the unique needs of our parents and children. Our mission at Huguenot UMC Preschool is to prepare your child for a lifetime of successful learning. Our developmentally appropriate program supports your child's growth in a safe, nurturing, family-oriented environment.

What are your admission procedures? To enroll your child, please complete our online registration form. When a space for your child is confirmed, we will need to collect the following additional items: medical form, copy of birth certificate, registration fee, and handbook signature page.

Ashley started here in 2003 as a temporary sub and loved it so much she never left. She earned her B.S. and M.S. from JMU. She enjoys teaching music and movement to guide children toward greater joy and self-expression. She uses her organizational and business skills to help the front office run smoothly.

Our core program operates weekdays from 9:30am to 12:30pm. It is a structured, curriculum-based program with a focus on developmentally appropriate practice and kindergarten readiness. Extended care hours are available for families with greater childcare needs. We utilize a 1:2 teacher-to-child ratio to insure that our youngest students get plenty of one-on-one attention and all of their physical and emotional needs are met.

Extended Care is an optional program designed to accommodate working families. It operates Monday through Friday, 12 months per year around the 9:30-12:30 hours of the core program. Morning Care is 8:00 to 9:30 and Afternoon Care is 12:30 to 5:30. Unlike many childcare centers, we allow for flexibility of scheduling.
