Dr. Colleen Catera attended University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned her DMD degree in 1996. She has practiced in both New York and Connecticut. Dr. Catera is a native of Long Island, growing up in Hicksville. She decided to move back to Long Island from Connecticut in 2011 to be closer to her family.

Told my daughter she had 4 cavities and also my son he had 4 cavities when they both never had cavities in their lives. Followed up with another dentist and both said they had zero cavities and their teeth looked perfect. Messed up that someone would willingly drill 8 holes in 8 perfect teeth. Do not recommend at all. Upset mother. They just want your money.

Bad experience with a simple replacement filling. Had to be redone and almost had me do a root canal for no reason. Thankfully another opinion stopped me before it I did it. And don't provide your SS# because she will put into collection and damage your FICO score for a $50.00 unknown bill; would not respond to my inquiry after discovery. Nice going

New to the area and needed a dentist. I was recommended to go to Dr. Catera. I’ve been going to dentists for many years and I gotta say, Dr. Catera’s team is the best. I received a very thorough cleaning and examination. The office is very clean and they are all very knowledgeable, informative and courteous. Overall a great experience and I will continue going to Dr. Catera for all my dentistry needs.

Seriously love coming here!!! Dr. Catera takes pride in her work and is the most amazing Dentist, shes always smiling and has such a good heart! I will never ever go to another dentist, I have been coming to her for years an she truly is the BEST!
