He has been in practice for 20 years and has lived in Tyler since 2004. He is married and has an older son and younger daughter. He loves his family and church, and enjoys sports and the outdoors! Dr. Cooley would love to meet you and help you and your family achieve a happy and healthy smile. Dr. Guess is an Associate here at Dr. Cooley's office!
He graduated from UT Health - San Antonio before attending The Ohio State University for an One - Year Orthodontic Internship. He is excited to move back to East Texas to be close to his family in Oakwood, TX. When not serving our patients, Dr. Guess serves the patients of Bethesda Health Clinic. He is a member of the ADA, TDA, and ETDA.

Tooth fillings are a great option for most small and medium sized cavities. Bonded fillings can be used on front or back teeth, depending on the location and extent of tooth decay. At Cooley Cosmetic and Family Dental, we offer tooth-colored fillings. Our tooth-colored fillings come in a variety of tooth-colored shades to closely match the appearance of your natural teeth.
A crown (also known as a "cap") are the preferred restoration when large parts of the tooth are missing, following a root canal, the tooth has cracks, or when the tooth has been chipped or worn down. A crown works to protect weakened teeth from future cracks and fractures. Crowns come in a variety of materials including tooth colored porcelain, gold, as well as tooth colored zirconia.

My appointment was at 2:30, didn’t get back to a room until 3:05. Assistant and dentist were kind, listened to my concerns, and were informative and made sure I was comfortable throughout. At the end, the dentist who was performing the cleaning forgot to polish my teeth, they offered that I could come back in and have it done, but I needed to be elsewhere. Overall friendly people, but I would have appreciated a heads up on running 30+ minutes behind schedule. Also, I’ve never left an office without floss, travel toothpaste, and a toothbrush, but I didn’t get any goodies.
