Intervest Companies was founded over 30 years ago in Dallas, Texas. Originally, the company was primarily involved in the investment and operation of multi-family properties, subsequently acquiring and managing thousands of multi-family units throughout the state.
Over the years, the company has expanded its operational and investment expertise to include all aspects of real estate investments, development and operations, as well as the takeover, turnaround, and subsequent sale of real estate assets and large financial institutions during the RTC and FDIC period of the early 1990's.

Mr. Schiff, Partner, founded the company and has been involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years. Mr. Schiff later was employed by a large local apartment builder/operator in key management positions. Prior to forming Intervest Companies, he was Executive Vice-President of Hemisphere Equity Investors, Inc., a multi-faceted real estate company developing large projects in several states.
Intervest evaluates each of its potential investments in a very detailed, disciplined manner taking into consideration factors and utilizing extensive due diligence programs and employing knowledge derived from many years of successful investing. The company has established a reputation in the community for owning premier real estate in key locations.
