Services
I started my dental career in 2001 as a dental assistant and in 2004 I became a dental hygienist. I transitioned to the front office after moving to Florida. I joined Avalon Dental in 2012. I can honestly say I LOVE MY JOB! With my experience, I can answer questions about treatment, help with insurance needs, and schedule appointments.
Dr. Anissa Ottley was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1999. She furthered her studies at the Pankey Institute and at the Dawson Academy. She is an active member of the Escarosa Dental Society, the Florida Dental Association and the Seattle Study Club.
This can be anything done to correct imperfections in the appearance of the mouth. Anyone who is unhappy with their smile can have it fixed. The upper teeth show, usually, only when smiling, while the lower teeth remain hidden. This is reversed when talking, with the upper teeth remaining hidden while the lower teeth show.
Crowns are full coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. They are most commonly done after a root canal treatment, or when a large filling wears out. The larger the hole made by a cavity that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed.
Dysport (formerly known as Reloxin) is the first FDA-approved alternative to BOTOX and is made from the same cosmetic form of botulinum toxin. Dysport does not work by filling in wrinkles like facial fillers, such as Restylane(R) or JUVEDERM(R). Instead, it temporarily paralyzes the facial muscles that contract and cause wrinkles.

We moved here almost 3 years ago and finding new providers is always a challenge but we hit a homerun with Dr Ottley and her team at Avalon Dental. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Normal cleanings and checkups are a breeze and just recently I required an unscheduled event when I had a chipped tooth. They brought me in the very next day and took care of it. Thank you Dr Ottley and team.

Avalon Dental is the very best! Dr. Ottley and her staff have both your comfort and safety their main concern! Our dental work has been of upmost quality and aesthetically pleasing. I know my particular case was quite challenging but the outcome was amazing! We would highly recommend Avalon Dental to anyone needing a great dentist and caring environment.

Wonderful staff, outstanding experience! Dr. Ottley and her Dental Hygienist, Suzanne were very patient and kind with me as I had all new teeth made! They were meticulous and professional throughout the very lengthy procedure, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were with this office for roughly three years. Staffing changes in 2020 really made this place pretty unbearable to deal with. We had multiple appointments turned away with misinformation, advising we didn’t have insurance coverage and we had to pay up front and buy their discount plan.

Also, Watch your billing very carefully with them. After pushback and petty behavior from

I needed a dentist that would take my Fed Gov Dental insurance in a hurry (just moved to Pace/Milton). I needed a crown ASAP. Avalon Dental completed the best crown I've ever had , from 4 different dentist's (2 of them are my friends). With no pain and great Dr/Patient skills.
My strongest recommendation. Outstanding workmanship, and attention to detail.
Thank you Avalon Dental!!!!!

I really like Dr. Ottley however, I am very disappointed with the office service. I was charged a fee for a 'failed appointment' which I had to reschedule twice for work. (One for surgery and one for work). When called to rescheduled the appointment, the receptionist was very rude. I was told that I needed to give '48' hours as stated on my appointment card. Well, on my appointment card is states, 'If unable to keep this appointment please give 24 hours notice' which I did. When told about this she seemed like she was trying to find any excuse under the sun for the
