Olson Funeral Home
We believe that the most valuable thing we own cannot be seen or touched - it is the goodwill of people we have served and people who recommend us. We have been a family owned and operated funeral home serving the Bloomer area for over 65 years. Our family and our staff associates are involved in the betterment of our community by being active in our faith communities, schools, charitable causes, and community boards.

You will find that our staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and low-key. We really care about the people we serve and in doing things right. We also offer a complete pre-planning service which provides the peace of mind that the plans you make today will make things so much easier for your survivors (some may choose to pre-fund and lock in today's costs).
Services
We understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Our compassionate and caring team work hard each and every day to make sure that the members of our community and beyond are taken care of during such a difficult time. For advice on what to do when a loved one is dying, making funeral arrangements, pre-arranging your own funeral, or anything else, please feel free to contact us, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In order to provide our families with the least traumatic visit during a terribly difficult time, we have begun using a modular display room. The room includes quarter panels of the caskets we offer, as well as displays of vaults, urns, cremation jewelry, monuments, funeral service books, memorial cards, thank you cards, and a variety of keepsake remembrances.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.

Dave and his son took care of my dad for us after invasive medical care took him from us too early. Olson funeral home served as a departure point for many great friends over the years! They really go the extra mile to reduce the stresses that come during painful losses... Thank you for what you do.
