The customer service girls that answer the phone are amateurish/unprofessional. I highly recommend
Byum & Son invest in their employees via minimum cost of a 1k soft skills customer service training package, for each employee that answers the phone. It's imperative that Bynum & Son who's contracted with such a large brand " Home Depot" invest in their front line face of the company. The frontline/ face of a company will make or break a company!!....A company can have the worst product and the best service customers will stay loyal because of how you made them feel/ experience..# Business 101

Guys showed up and it was obvious that the first priority was how expensive can they make this project. I’m in construction and didn’t tell the guy until he was done telling me how I needed to relocate my hot water heater to the basement from the garage. I then told him that his plan was/is ridiculous to tell me to run a whole house new hot water line just so you can connect directly to my gas line where it comes into the house. I then showed him the current gas line and that all that was needed was 10’ of either new black steel pipe or even better home flex pipe. He still gave me an obscene

Went to Home Depot to get some help with a hot water heater. No hot water. The salesman was helpful and said because ours was only 7 years old, it might just need a new heating element. But he helped me pick out a new one (50 gal) and set me up with Bynum Plumbing. He said because it was only 10am, they would most likely come that day. He said they would call quickly. After an hour, I called them. First, I was told that it would be 2 weeks before they could come? Then I was told that a 50 gallon wouldn't work and to be "up to codes" we would have to get an 80 gallon tank and it would

Derek worked on our septic drainage field. He took the time to explain not only what he was doing but gave me a septic 101 course. Another company told us we would have to replace the entire field. Derek said he could make a repair for less than half the other estimate. He started and finished the same day as the estimate and we haven't had an issue since. I have and would recommend Bynum to anyone with a septic issue. It was a huge relief to have the person that did the estimate do the work. So often things get lost in translation when it's 2 different people. Great job by Derek and Bynum!

I have used this Company three times in the last 6 months. They have repaired my master bathtub clog, replaced and installed a water heater, and this time, they fixed a leaky toilet. I have been impressed with the professionalism, price, office personnel, and the easiness of making an appointment. Their prices are reasonable and you are told, the price before they arrive. They call and let you know when they will be there. They have never been past or not shown up. I really like the way this company works. I have recommended them to several friends. Cannot go wrong with them.

I think Derek did a good job pumping/cleaning my septic tank and I like the fact that he is knowledgeable! They are not cheap, not at all. The $125.00 you pay or sign to pay upfront in order to open the tank is a catch. After they open the tank, they can jack the price up however they want since you have already paid $125.00. Good work is not cheap. If you're willing to pay $125.00 upfront, I recommend this company/Derek.

We bought a sink, faucet, and drain from Home Depot.
We were told if we prepaid, the plumbing company would be out sooner. Bynam & Sons Plumbing came out to install the sink. The whole interaction was bad from the start.

I live in a 6yr old house. These guys came to deliver and install a water heater. After arrival, they told me that the can't replace my old water heater because they have to walk through a bathroom. On top of that, one of the guys had dirty shoes and stained up my carpet. Called GA Natural Gas and they told me that what they told me was not a thing. Should have been no issues. Do not use this business!!!

Despite some bad older reviews, I found them to be very professional. They were on time. The price quoted was what the charged. They even gave me a $25 discount. They hauled the old water heater off at no extra cost and cleaned up the work site. All that's left is the inspection in a month. They changed nothing since the last inspection, plumbing wise, so I do not anticipate any problems.

Unfortunately, my story is similar to other yelpers's -this company was scheduled through Home Depot during a new counter top installation. They were supposed to unhook an old kitchen sink and insinkerator and return 48 hours later to install the new sink, faucet, and insinkerator that we had already purchased-a seemingly simple job! Although we had already PREPAID Home Depot for the equipment AND services, and had never had a problem with the plumbing in the kitchen- after the sink was unhooked, the company workmen insisted that additional work had to be done for an ADDITIONAL $300 CHARGE

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A CONTRACTOR
I've been in construction and renovations for over 30 years and had the worst customer service experience from Bynum Plumbing ever. Home Depot should be ashamed of using this company as their installer/representative. The person I spoke to said her name was Audrey, and she was completely unhelpful. I went to Homeadvisor.com and immediately hired a very pleasant company to do the same work for a much lower price.

A consumer alert. DO Not use Bynum & Sons period. Unbelievable lack of service from the office to the House visit. I contacted them to diagnose a septic/sewer issue as that is thier " business". I needed an estimate to run a sewer line If there was no septic tank. Gwinnett cnty water determined was on Tank only.
Come out, had to come back again with equipment. The person in charge with 2 trainees. They dug a section of 1x2 and told ne I was on Tank and it was collasped. He would not give an estimate until I the homeowner went to city hall to obtain a diagram of the water line.

I was a little skeptical after reading some of these reviews, most of them concerned plumbing/Home Depot/Lowes customers and installation of water heaters, etc.
I had them install a septic tank baffle after being quoted prices 40-50% higher. My tech, Eric, was on time, very friendly and most important knowledgeable on my situation. I have to tell ya I was a little worried initially but Eric put me at ease. Very satisfied with his work and the price i paid.
